When i finish mission completely stealth i usually walk to the exit (its ALT i think to walk without running) and just listen to the music. it feels so cool. i think they COMPLETELY NAILED the soundtrack. the sounds perfectly fit the games, and you not only see you won, you also hear and FEEL you won. this soundtrack is amazing, and also it overlays with some other sounds its just nuts
I just didn't like 2016's James Bond style music in almost all the maps. 2018 was perfect and Hitman 3 partially went back to 2016 style James Bond music.
Why is nobody talking about how, near the beginning of each “near exit”, those couple long notes change over each mission. In Miami, they’re mostly trumpets (or trombones or whatever, basically a horn instrument). In Santa Fortuna and Mumbai, they slowly drift more to violins. In Whittleton Creek, you can faintly hear voices in the background. Then, in the Isle of S’gail, there’s full on chanting accompanying the violins.
@@videogamemusic2962 Ikr? I swear, that guitar melody automatically makes it one of the most epic versions by far. Fits the theme of Miami pretty well.
i like how each mission accomplished mix has its own little jingle for each map. like miami has that event sound effect, while mumbai has a flute or something playing. those little details are so fun
i only really noticed it when playing isle of sgail, and it’s become my favorite ever since :3 edit: santa fortuna is also amazing for the creepy “drerreeeeeooooouuuuuuuu” that plays throughout the whole thing
I geinuinely love this game's soundtrack. they could've just made 1 track for all maps for this success theme, but they put that extra work and damn it paid off. This game has one of the best soundtracks ever, it definitely adds a ton to the overall feel of the game. 10/10
If someone ever ask me what's the definition of "edging", ima gonna send them this video. Really good work on all the hitman videos by the way man, I take a listen from time to time, and without your work it'd be a real pain to find what I look for, thanks a bunch !
your uploads are amazing! i cannot wait for you to upload the new york ost...it is amazing, especially the mission accomplished theme when you have the data core in hand...
@@pabloveloso7736 It kinda sounds like some of the mission briefing music from Chaos Theory, but it mainly reminds me of Conviction, like the parking garage of 3rd Echelon, or the inside of White Box.
This makes me want to re-play Hitman 2 again... not sure if i should wait for Hitman 3 since it is supposed to have Hitman 1 and Hitman 2 in it. I'd prefer to "forget" the missions so i can re-play them simliar to the 1st time
@@jeandamienmecanophilefaitd5162 yea i hope too I have Hitman 2 on steam (Gold) and Hitman 1 on Epic Games (because it was free) I hope when Hitman 3 comes out i'll have access to Hitman 1 too
@@zeussoulhd2169 but i see the laziness of IO Interactive when they make HITMAN 2. First, Slideshow cinematic 🤣. Second, they don't know how to make an escape soundtrack of Maldives so they use New York's one instead.
@@robin_agent47-kz3wi2ko7f Well, while they were developing Hitman 2, Square Enix abandoned them and they were left on their own with a small budget. They hardly got Warner Bros to publish the game. To be honest, it was a miracle the game got released in the first place
That's interesting. Miami's Near exit uses a different instrument for the melody, giving a stronger and tenser atmosphere. The other five four tracks(besides Hawke's Bay) all have a smoother and one might say, weaker melody. Any reasons why they might have done this?
Ohhh I get it, the 'Near Exit' parts here are the 'extraction' parts in your other custom mixes, except without the signature horns repeating each time.
i like the fact that every map in Hitman 2 2018 has it's own theme for mission acomplished and they're all good, but the extraction itself? I never felt as satisfied as 2016, quite the opposite actually, i felt disapointed the first time i got to the extraction in Hitman 2, i missed the James Bond style extraction theme, it was 10 times more satisfying then this: 18:16
Haven uses the same one as Miami. But yea, I'm all up for a video that includes New York (or bank as you call it). As well as, just because, non-near exit versions of the ones here that didn't get it. But then again, considering that your comment is 5 months old and Salem hasn't uploaded a version that includes New York, it seems unlikely that it'll happen.
