HITMAN III Official Soundtrack - Berlin Underground Rave Club Music (FULL MIX) HITMAN 3 (Official Soundtrack Playlist) • HITMAN 3 (Complete Sou... Produced by Niels by Nielsen
Dude, this level in VR is next level… being in the middle of that dance floor-raving in my living room for a good 45 mins with the curtains wide-open; just drenched in sweat. Defo one the most impactful experiences I’ve had, if not the most, and that’s on a CV1. Absolutely fantastic.
The interior part of the club is Berlin's "Tresor" (Vault) club, some other building parts are the well known "Berghain" (Mountain Grove). The outer area is the former "Griessmühle" (Flour / Semolina Mill"). Look them up or come by :)
As a former DJ I really enjoyed this level. It gave me a bit of that old rush. Also, I love how you can hear, and almost feel, the muted vibration of the sound system as you get closer to the dance floor, very realistic. Hitman's attention to detail is always dope.
This is literally the only popular media representation of a rave (let alone of electronic music) I've ever seen that actually sounds like stuff we listen to at these events. No 2011 brostep (I'm still waiting for someone like Midnight T or Marauda to contribute to a game) no lazily produced poor facsimiles of Zedd or Tiesto or The Chainsmokers, not even a generic house "boots and cats" to lie in the background. This is REAL techno and it -fucks-
Absolutely! I had my fair share of raves pre Corona. And the atmosphere and music in that level totally sent me back to that. Had my Astro A50 on went to the floor and stood there for about 20 minutes smiling and nodding to the beat with closed eyes. Excellent representation of a rave and the first good one that comes really close to reality.
Same, used to be heavily into raves and free parties when I was 20 and this mission was such a surprise that made me think "damn, i wish this place was real because it would fucking slap"
@@urbansekkt6355 Berlin is heavily based on Berghain. But with how hard it is to get into it you might as well just play this level again because IOI really knew what they were doing and made me appreciate the techno I wish I grew up with and not modern mainstream “EDM” everyone listens to. BTW who tf thought of EDM and to consider it a whole genre. First the name sounds dumb. Second it’s way too broad.
This was such an unexpected level. From finding the agents to going on the dancefloor amongst the crowd (also played this with a controller so it was vibrating to the music, kind of like how you feel the bass run through your whole body in a club). It was really special, really brought me back. A year and something ago, I was going to warehouse/tunnel raves and clubs like this every week and here I am today, reminiscing about it because everything's closed. Funny, how things go. First time I played this, I camped in the crowd, dug up some tabs I had left, slapped on my good pair of headphones, and damn... IO knew exactly what they were doing with this level!!
Hard to think of a better "level" tbh Edit: storytelling wise, from what I've played, the first mission of the Last of Us was probably the most impactful... but the level design on this map, and honestly some others on the latest Hitman trilogy, is probably unmatched atm for any non-open world games... and honestly, as i'm writing this and struggling to think of something... its not even close... this game is peak level design, masterfully crafted
The cold open is really awesome, too. All the hitman levels feel so disconnected from the narrative, despite all the lore they build up foe the targets. This level is the exception to that, it succeeded in what Absolution was trying to accomplish.
Agreed with everyone in here. Loved the atmosphere of the mission, especially with 47 starting at that spooky bus stop in the woods, with no gun or gear.
That's true. However my patience eventually ran out the first time and just created waves of bodies and eventually found them out that way. Not the most subtle approach 😂
I bought Hitman 3 especially for this Berghain level. The Hitman trilogy has fantastic environments with a lot of options and interactive features to play around with
I bought Hitman because it's my childhood. Which is kinda hard if you think about a kid killing other persons and taking their clothes, but I loved it. This rave just made it better as a raver myself. Hamburg raves are better though, not that soft.
a cool detail in this level was when above ground or in the cloak rooms etc, there is the sound of objects or structures vibrating to the bass from below. such a nice touch. was so cool to hear the music get louder, and clearer, the sound design in this i enjoy more than the game itself sometimes! even the music it isnt just a track that has a theme and thats it, it has these specific moments that play but if you havent got out from cover yet or moved to the next part.. the music wont move on to the next part either. very cool and really immerses you
I went into this level expecting it to be like the Payday 2 nightclub mission- a few dozen people on an average size dancefloor. Nope. The music pulsed in my eardrums as I entered a sea of easily a thousand people. Truly unforgettable.
The first time I played this map, I got spotted by an enforcer. "Here we go again, let's grab the latest load". But then he turned out to be one of the agent and then you know, dead people can't talk, silent assassin is still intact (I got silent assassin after 1 hour of exploring every corner of the map with every disguise I could find lol)
This is my favorite map in the game. Some of the vibes remind me of the Meat King’s Party from Hitman Contracts. Not as disturbing, but still has the seedy, dark club vibe.
Meat kings party my god that was dark shit. Did you play blood money? The hell and heaven party was also pretty sick, nowhere near twisted as meat party tho..
The symbolism of the gunfire prevalent throughout the entire song, mixed with 47’s constant determination and willpower to take out these agents purely out of revenge; so he can as the game puts it “send a message”. It really speaks to the player subtly and the fact that this song can be used as a way to eliminate two of the agents shows us that this song represents 47’s skill, passion, and desire for revenge.
Love this map Obviously the atmosphere and discovering targets is great But I honestly just love the whole feel / narrative You are being hunted down by agents , heavily outnumbered But you are the apex predator You are hunting them down Real “I’m not locked in here with you , your locked in here with me “ vibes lmao
It's the best Hitman level in my opinion for the reason that you don't know who your targets are, they are not highlighted in red as usual. Dynamic changes when you start discovering them one by one - from you being hunted to becoming a hunter. Really badass with this music in a background in Berlin rave club setting.
Never played H3, just briefly heard OST in a Dr. Disrespect video and had to look it up. The Sound is amazingly spot on! This Set would've been a perfect fit running in Berghain! This being a game OST coming from somebody that is not actually a techno producer is quite impressive! :)
You should totally play it if you haven’t already, easily the best in the trilogy. Great map design, absolutely amazing sound design, honestly one of the greatest games I have ever played
I didn’t like it at first. But the more I played it listening to the banger beats got to me. It was a phenomenal experience playing this game for hours on end during summer of 2021. Specifically July, and this game will have nostalgia with me forever. The great memories I’ll have with this game coming back to it. And this level.
I've never been to a rave. Playing this mission in hitman 3 VR was the closest experience possible. I was having a blast putting my hands up and dancing (also firing at people but that's another topic of discussion).
I just love this Mission. The best Part was when you manipulate the electric Box to the metal bridge the one agent stands on, activate the Showdown, and then the whole bridge got electrocuded. Now that is what I call german Disco music.
This is the defining level for me for Hitman 3 and the best one i ve ever played since Hitman ever existed. Astonishing work IO, words cant describe the feelings, best level of all games history
Perfect marriage of a great map, and music. Without either being on point, this could have failed. The sound design is amazing, and perfectly maps your journey from the front door to the dance floor in all it's wondrous glory. Great work to IOI and Niels.
this track slaps really hard. i dont believe i have ever seen a 38 minutes long club track just being made for a single level in a game. it fits the level perfectly.
this howling high pitched vocal (?) synth is IT for me. i hear a faint repeating melody in it. this is the best level of the whole game imho. the atmo, the unguided finding of the agents....
German techno is great I was blasting all my bullets at this club making a mess! The weirdest thing happend I was shooting all people and security and then at the disco right in the center there was this one guy only one that kept dancing! I dont know what drugs he used but he obviously didnt care I was shooting lol
i found a bunch of propane tanks and scattered them everywhere in the crowd. i shot 1 and everyone flew up in the air in sync with the music due to perfect timing
After I completed the mission in complete stealth mode without using any guns, I relaunched it and activated John Wick mode. It was an amazing trilogy, hopefully IOI can work their magic in the upcoming 007 game.
