This video makes me wanna play this game again after about 5 years. It's really underrated in my opinion. It has got good gameplay mechanics and the graphics are almost as good as in the PS4 sequels. I totally adore the sound effects and the music in this one as well.

I think they used the same base code from Absolution for HM 1 and 2. The voices are the same too. The save system was changed and it is more sandbox and less linear. But it looks like an HD makeover using the same code. There was a save game bug in Absolution that would randomly corrupt your save file and you would have to reset from the beginning on consoles. What finally convinced me while playing HM 1 (2016) Definitive edition that it was the same code was when the game would randomly crash. I would get the message that I would have to restart. Just like Absolution. So to fix that bug they came up with the restructured save system. I had a lot of fun with absolution, didn't mind the linear part at all. But I had to exit and save after every challenge complete. I had initially completed 276 out of 278 challenges and got to experience the first save game bug. I rage quit for 6 months then came back to play saving my progress on a usb on the 360. Now I revisit the game on the 360 here and there. Same with Splinter cell conviction.. still play it lol.

Ahh, the memories I had with the Hitman franchise. You'd mostly just keep on retrying and retrying until a route/strat would finally work for you. It's trial in error most of the time, but when you finally get that SA rating by possibly using your own unique route, you deserve a pat on the back.

Excellent planning and execution, I’ve practiced some “stealth choreography” on my main channel on games like assassins creed, they worked out well but never for 10 minutes. Impressive work on all your videos, and I love the crisp quality of all gameplay’s. Absolution is an underrated game in the series that holds a special place in my heart, I loved the atmosphere and gameplay, yes it wasn’t as open as bloodmoney and the newer games but it’s a solid stealth game with a interesting comicy story.

Thank you very much for your video, AJ Nguyen Gaming. For a long time, I've been trying to clear Shaving Lenny on Purist mode (suit only and without being detected). However, a few months prior to watching this video, I already acquired the Silent Assassin ranking. Nevertheless, this video has helped me a lot and I appreciate it.

I'm seriously considering getting the HD remake on PS4. I'm waiting to see the save system first though. I hated the sabe game bug that would corrupt your file and you wold have to start over. I did have a lot of fun with this game though.

The line of sight of the guard is blocked since 47 is technically in crouching position behind a cover, visually it doesn't make sense but if you play the newest Hitman games the line of sight doesn't work like this game and in situation like this you would get caught.

No, Absolution is the worst Hitman game in the series. Buy Blood Money instead, be aware of the old clunky control though.

It has trial and error like other hitmans have. Theres absolutly nothing wrong with it except this. Absolution is the last substantial and self contained entry of the series. The new games are just a bunch of levels about online features and doing challenges.

Are you Vietnamese? Cool video, but Im not a fan of Absolution. All you do in this game is throw shit around, Blood Money had coin toss but Absolution jacked it up to 11. I gotta try new Hitman games, see if they learned from their mistakes
