I totally agree, The thing is with Bream is you always hear the music rather than the technique.

Still a very good performance nonetheless. Bit unfair to compare with the greatest guitarist of all time

I actually disagree. Bream deserves a lot of credit for this piece. And it is silly to make a comparison. But if you do, we should be open to acknowledge that guitarists of this generation possess skills at a much higher level than the old time masters.
