My perspective: as you stated, C is everywhere as Epic is boosting tf outta her which I mean fine whatever. I see SELF-TITLED being what it is because of the circumstances in which it was released. However, my issue with 5H has nothing to do with THEM at all, or even the fans OR the camilizers. My issue is with all the negativity 5H gets from other stars. Like why is it that NOBODY can say anything nice about them at all? Like even before the VMAs people were just draggin them for no reason. I try to show them so much support but they just can't escape that breakup or constant ridicule and it's just sad. Honestly, if this IS the end just give me my Khalid ft. Normani before you close the door.

Idk This album is nowhere to be seen after release but i will say worth it took a few months to gain traction same with work from home, My thing is they used the wrong songs as singles first. Down flopped so bad and everyone was confused if angel was a single or not. He like that wasn't promoted enough if they really wanted that single to pop off they should have performed it at the vma's there strategy just isnt working atm.

I love both Fifth Harmony and Camila but take the whole competition away from each fandom the reason why Camila is doing so well with her music is because it truly is from her heart these songs are an extension of herself when something is genuine and real people see it and it will more likely succeed. I'm sure there were many songs that the girls loved but did not end up on the album I'm not saying fifth harmony aren't real or genuine but they say that they've had more control this round and wrote half the album. When you look at that it's basically only 5 songs, their debut single "down" was a song that was given to them no matter how much they say they are in control they really are still "manufactured" in a way that not everything they're doing is entirely them. As sad as it is Not until they all go solo will we truly see all of them as individuals for who they are in their music.

Did y'all literally just call the most decorated girl group of all time, flops? Call yourselves Harmonizers, review the album, say you love the album, and then turn your back on it once it starts falling in the charts? hey you guys disappoint me. when i saw your reaction to the album you seem to love almost every song and gave them a lot of praise. now that things isn't going so great for the album you don't seam to like it. i don't blame the girls or their label i blame us fans who didn't buy or stream the album. thats the difference in fifth harmony fans and camila fans regardless of what she sound like or her album her fans will support her. they will buy her album and stop anyone from putting the album on line so people can listen to it for free. after fifth harmony album was put on line for free a lot of people didn't buy it. real fans support they artist regardless of what other fandom is saying. i think this is the best fucking album fifth harmony has ever made and when they break up i will be so glad i got it. you guys are doing exactly what other fandom want you to do. so what if they promoting camila a lot, we knew when the girls album was coming out and their fans chose not to buy it stop blaming other people the fans are the ones who let the girls down.

Everything y'all said is so true, my only wish as a Harmonizer is for the girls to someday get the respect they deserve artists, whether as a group or as individuals, and whether it's with fame or "underrated" fame.

There are no radio hits on self titled...let's be real. There are definitely some good songs, but nothing that's going to shake the radio stations and bring a ton of new fans in. Their label and management has failed them terribly... This group is successful, but I honestly could've seen them getting as big as *NSYNC, Spice Girls, or BSB. I'm an older fan, so I remember how huge those groups were...why isn't 5H reaching older audiences in the way those groups were?!? I'm always a bit confused by how their popular and not quite at the level they should be at the same time...they have all the skills, looks, and talent to be HUGE! I stumbled upon them earlier this year after getting sucked into DWTS and wondering who that Normani girl was. It's crazy that they've been out for 5 years and I've never heard of them prior to this year...and I'm a huge music head!! I hope someone on their team gets it together and they have a huge hit song that reaches more than their current audience...

When did the girls say they ever wanted a #1? I remember them saying they didn't care. That they were proud of the work regardless. The #1 shit came from harmonizers. The fans are the ones in competition. The girls are grateful for whatever certification or chart position they get. but I've never heard them say those are their goals. The only goal I've heard them talk about is getting a grammy. This isn't a grammy worthy album but it's better than the other two. And they obviously want actual fans to buy. What's there to be tired about? If you like the music, listen to it. If you don't like the music, move on to something else. Why does this have to be complicated?

I agree with what y’all said in the sense that 5H is the only musical act I have to defend. I stan some really popular artist but also underground ones, and even semi-popular with the same level of popularity as 5H but I don’t feel the need to defend or prove their worth (frankly I don’t have to cus no one comes for them on the same level as ppl come for 5H) I just feel like 5H has a lot of enemies. The fact that they think Camila is getting more promo than Fifth Harmony when they had VMAs, Jimmy Fallon, James Corden, Today Show, 4 music videos and Kelly and Ryan is ridiculous. If fans actually bought and streamed the album, it would be more successful. Sure the label is shit but at the end of the day the songs are not connecting with the mass audience. Camila is not the problem, she barely had any promo until now but was still consistently on the charts and has been successful. If the songs are not connecting why would the label invest? I hope for better but at this rate I unfortunately don't see it happening.

A bit confused with the back and forth with the Fifth Harmony discussion at the end. Yes I agree their promotion isn't on par with what it used to be, but the way y'all seemed to just do a complete 180 on your thoughts concerning their self-titled album (which is still, without a doubt, their best one), was unexpected and rubbed me the wrong way. This may or may not be the last 5H album (which sucks for me because this was the era I decided to become a faithful fan). However, few female groups maintain their popularity for the span of their careers because the targeted audience (mostly teenaged girls and young women) are more likely to be loyal to their favorite boy groups and solo acts (One Direction, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, etc.), which is why Camilizers were so thrilled when Camila left. The fact that 5H even lasted five years is noteworthy, especially in an industry that hasn't seen several groups (male and female) promoting at the same time since the late 90s. 1D is on hiatus (most likely not making a comeback), and the groups with the most buzz right now in the States are Korean (BTS, EXO, BLACKPINK, etc). Also, that shot at PRETTYMUCH was unexpected and a bit much. Yes, they're Simon's new playthings, but with 1D most likely over, it wasn't too hard to figure out that Simon was eventually going to create a replacement. And at least PRETTYMUCH can dance. Not too many American boy groups nowadays can say the same. I think people can enjoy both Fifth Harmony and PRETTYMUCH without turning it into some bloodbath feud. But whatever. Self Titled is honestly so good I still listen to it weeks after and I usually didn't do that for 7/27 or Reflection. Plus this is the first time I actually bought a digital and physical of their album because the content was good. Y'all let charts and promo taint your view on good music. If they don't care about chart positions weeks after why should I? I can name so many trash albums this year like Lorde, Kesha, Khalid, Kehlani, and Cashmere cat. I'll give credit where it's due and they deserve it especially for this album.

The reason i think people still dislike the girls is because even though they wrote this album it still feels lime that last one just with a different vibe? Like i enjoyed the last album. The lyrics on this one for most of the songs are formulated and i dont like it. Deliver, and angel are the only ones i liked because they really did feel different and i could hear them. The rest seem like some space filler that it was like we could do better but lets just put this album out. I mean Camilas isnt even out yet but shes taken more care and time to actually do something with it. I feel like the girls were allowed to take more part in the process but they still dont have creative control because this shit seemed rushed as hell so they could stay relevant after camila left.

Perhaps their record label is aiming for mass-success because like any business they want to maximize profit, I don't think that's the girls though. I do believe that the 4 of them are loyal to the group and attribute their success to date rightfully to it.
