It's been a while since I rode the GP circuit at Sydney Motorsport Park and this day was somewhat different from the others, I'll explain why;
This was a Coach and Setup day with Top Rider Australia and also was the first ride day under their new contract, so things were well organised, smaller groups and lots of track time.
As you may know, Top Rider Australia normally takes you for a walk around the track explaining all the different entry and clipping points in each turn, however as the GP Circuit is almost 4km, they opted for marks on the track, which you will be able to tell from the video, I dedicated my day to hit the markers, lap after lap, consistently.
I went on this ride day with the intention to work on my footwork and rear brakes, whoever during my pre-ride maintenance I notice my rear brake was very stiff and not working properly so my plans didn't go ahead... I did, however, work on my footwork, I found difficult to get rid of old habits and I had to keep reminding myself to position my foot throughout the day.
