Hey that dark section you mentioned, you actually can go there before starting any quest, you just need a light source and any slashing weapon or knife, will let you get the lightness boots which might help with some early game run energy!
You wouldn't have lost your items if the gravestone timed out, it just would go to death's coffer and you'd have to pay a little bit of money to get it. Though considering the value of your items it'd probably be free
with his level gear and items, they would be free. Anything short of late midgame gear is free. I make it a habit of just going and asking for my things without trying to get to my gravestone.
For killing the moss giants it would probably help to run to a safespot to heal, if you don't want to fully flinch them. Flicking prayers would help too of course, but you don't have an altar so I'd understand why you may not want to do that.
@@chinglamyung Ghost should try fighting moss giants with Accurate style as well, which gives an invisible +3 attack boost. It would be helpful considering he currently has no good gear.
Haha that was funny. You were like a little gnat when it came to the miss giant. lol you had to tuck tail and run real quick. Thanks for the awesome content!
very excited to see your series continue :) just wanted to say it’s so fun reading all the comments giving advice, and that your voice and editing style are very calm to listen to!
For the future you could have used edgeville lever or I believe you could have also used the fishing trawler teleport. Looking forward to more episodes in the future. Also, for the moss giants, if using a scimitar sticking to slash will help significantly with your attack bonus to hit more frequently. Moving to a safe spot just before you’re risking to eat will also minimize the number of hits you’re taking. Also, if you want to be sweaty, when you eat if you immediately click on the monster again you can occasionally save ticks rather than waiting for them to hit and your character to auto-retaliate.
If your aim is to grind out moss giants consistently, then it would probably be fastest to train up your stats first solely off of weaker enemies like goblins/dwarves/bats. Otherwise, instead of flinching, if you did want to collect chickens to rush them, I recommend corner trapping them around a tree to heal up. Since their max hit is 6, you can wait until your hp is below 7 and then heal all the way to full without taking any damage in the meantime.
after watching josh's inst gaming's yanille acc you could always loot the maze chest for couple hr's straight to get you're runes up to mage the giants
Having done almost this exact grind due to having similar chunks, it is doable if painfully slow with your setup. I wish you luck on getting a weapon upgrade quickly :)
Great job on the series so far, im really enjoying it! On the production side I have a question, is it possible to make the HUD bigger? The combination of the aspect ratio and the small HUD makes your inventory so small on phone.
Currently you have around a 10% chance for a gear upgrade each moss giant kill. It would absolutely be worth flinching them and focusing just on attack/strength until you at least have the sword and/or the steel helm and shield. Getting those would speed up not just the giant grind but would also make killing the Dwarven Guards a viable alternative to goblins, and with 3x the HP that'll be a lot more chill.
Finally an OSRS series where the player doesn't pronounce Ardougne as "Ardoiyn". Like nails on a chalkboard to me. You've earned my sub just from being able to pronounce a city correctly lmao.
That keg of beer lowers your attack level by like 50% so its definitely not worth using as a food item but considering how much it heals it might be good to have as an emergency big heal
I'm really liking the series ghost. You have a nice voice and I like that you include the music. It's very relaxing. The only critique I have is the interfaces are really small and the zoom is hard on the eyes. I know in game it feels a lot better. Just less immersive as a vod.
Echo what a few others have said in that it's a bit hard to see sometimes, probably be better playing in Fixed mode, but apart from that Great series. Keep up the grind and good luck.
On my iron man I use the wildly lever in edge to wildly, then pull again to get to ardy. That's how I cross across. Also, fishing trawler minigame tele
Definitely do not use controlled/stab method of attack if you are using a scimitar. It is far less accurate than using slash. For example, your bronze scimitar has +7 slash compared to its +1 stab. I guarantee those moss giant kills will be far faster this way.
Hey there! First off, I love the videos and I hope you keep them up. I just wanted to let you know that in some parts it seems kind of like youre whispering a bit into the mic. Its specifically noticeable during your ending spiel. It might help improve your audio quality a bit more if you try speaking from your diaphragm a bit. Cant wait to see the next one!
Maybe I'm not watching the video long enough, but you could have mini game teleported to soul wars, use the wild lever in edgeville, then use it again to go to Ardy and run north from there
Imagine having an issue with keeping the iron armour 😂 you do you champ it’s a good series all ready ignore the sweaty creatures trying to enforce dumb strict rules on content creators - you have fun, the armour slaps
I don't know if you know but you are using lunge attack styles on moss giants. It means you are using stab instead of slash. So you have a +1 stab bonus compared to a +7 slash bonus. Never use a stab on the scimitar if not necessary.
there is actually a chest you can picklock in Hemenster with 47 thieving, but sadly you need a lockpick. it is a tiny detail and i’m not sure if you will ever be bothered to come back and do that, but just throwing it out there :)
i dont mind the window type itself honestly, i just mind the black borders to the left and right if you do not want to play on some other mode mayeb you can shove the client to either side and place the chunk info on the space you free doing so, this would give the viewer info on what's the current and planned goals and also let you play with the window type you like just do whatever you feel is best
I wouldn't have had you drop the runes, I think losing the iron armor was enough of a punishment. Wouldn't make sense to reclaim every time you lose the set.
kill the moss giants for a weapon upgrade, it's worth it. spending the inventory spots on 2 mind runes etc isnt worthwhile imo when an inventory is still a maybe-enough for killing a mossie killing the chickens and cooking them is decent useful xp anyway so i dont think killing them -> moss giant is a bad loop you probably know now this but the controlled style on the scimi is much worse attack stat so dont use that on moss giants good video looking forward to more
Might be worth farming the goblins a bit more, collecting mind runes from the level 2s and maging the moss giants? Eevn if you only do half a giants hp it'll mean you need less food per kill. E: Sorry I misread the wiki, some level 2's near you but all the level 5 and 13's drop mind runes.
Honestly, it hurts watching you skip the feathers. Especially as your gonna need to power level fishing soon. Id say flinch those mossies until your stronger. May be slow per kill but gets you gear to unlock a new chunk
