Strike zones just TOO zoomed in for me- i end up chasing EVERYTHING. I use high or offset- offset works best for better pitchers because its so easy to take balls left and right idk what the offset does for me but its wonderful against pitchers i cant read well.
Gonna try lowering my transparency- been playing on 100 for a few days and i figured it would help to know where my pci was but after turning it off i have better ob.
Ive been playing mlb the show since ‘15. This yr is the worst I’ve been. I can’t track the ball, I can’t time at all, and I can’t figure out what pitch is being thrown. I probably have a better chance of hitting in real life lol. I’m basically guessing and just hoping I hit the ball. Especially with fastballs. I just throw the pci and a random location. I don’t even care about being great at the game, I just wanna be decent enough to the point where a pitch down the middle is a mistake against me, but not even that is a mistake lol
@@michaelcorleone287 the size of the tv effects delay I believe. Fastballs felt like they were 130 mph with the amount of time I had to react. But once I switched to a smaller one it felt so much easier… I still suck but it definitely easier lol
My approach: I like to take away inside pitches early in the count. But i like to play the percentages: 0-1 count, 75% of the time is a ball coming. 1-1 count, 90% of the time a ball is coming. 1-2 count, 65% of the time a ball is coming. Most players want you to get yourself out. I literally talk to myself starting 0-1 count (watch our for trash!!). 2-1 count, i actually switch depending on the pitchers tendencies to take away the middle/upper part of the strike zone. It actually doesn't mess up my timing if i need to jump inside for a pitch. I switch back and forth every at bat.
What I don't understand is the "seeing the pitch out of the hand" part...I can't tell the difference from one pitch to the next what its gonna be at the moment of release...they all look exactly the same to me...
kontrol freaks are personal preference, but for the controller, anything wired will be better. PS uses different connection technology than Xbox (i think)
