The Slowpitch Bat Bros swing the new 2021 Vanilla Gorilla from DeMarini - a 12" endloaded APC barrel with an alloy handle. This bat sold out FAST and I haven't heard about any restocking plans.
DeMarini Vanilla Gorilla:
-Felt true to a 26.5 half-ounce endload - but a little heavier than most DeMarinis
-Composite barrel, alloy handle
-Will test at a very, very high compression out of the wrapper but will drop down quickly - at 235 after 100 swings
-Significant feedback in the hands - very stiff - almost feels like a one-piece
-Small sweet spot compared to some of the Miken/Worth bats
-Solid on mishits towards the hands even though it rings you up
-Probably not gonna be great durability - heavy spiderwebbing already
-Hits absolute rockets - one of the hottest USSSA bats I've ever swung
-Epic sound
