PLEASE HELP - I need to replace the controller of my BK6 (bought just 6 months ago through Amazon in Paris France) but it seems impossible to find a supplier of spare parts (I have asked Amazon who said contact the vendor - called Flywheel, a distributor based in the UK - who said contact Hitway manufacturer, but they all say they cannot supply spare parts !!! This seems crazy because the Hitway range of E- bikes are sold in many major stores like Darty/FNAC, etc - so where is the supplier of spare parts? Apparently it is necessary to replace with the exact same make an type of controller, not with something just 'compatible'.
It is the brain of the bike that handles basically all functionality. It should be taking the input from the throttle and applying output power to the motor. This should have a direct impact on the speed of the bike. I'm looking to upgrade the speed and I believe I need to find a controller that allows more current to the motor
