Fun fact: the hole where the joint of the chest of this figure is connected in is actually deeper than the length of the actual joint. And adding tissues not only fixes the proportions but also add more movement or articulation to the joint

I got my hiya kong for Christmas and just today i thought it was funny using the extra heads instead of hands to have a 3 headed kong😂

My opinions on both the Hiya Godzilla and Kong are pretty much the same as yours. I've seen alot of people giving these figures great review but yet completely ignoring the problems they have or say the problems are not a big deal but yet if it was Monsterarts, they would be criticising the hell out of those problems.

Monster.arts are also more expensive and have been doing this for while so the hate is a little more understandable Hiya also it just starting out with this kind of stuff, this is just their first kaiju articulated figures. but yeah they do have some problems that should be pointed more,

I think we have the benefit in having such a huge variety in figures that we are able to compare things a bit better then some. That we don't really have in issue with hurting someones feelings with our comments on a fig whether it be a company or the viewer. Also on the MonsterArts issue I think people don't quite realize the amount of effort that goes into that line as even their Monsterverse figures have all been uniquely sculpted and stylized. That and they still are the best engineered line, which holds a premium price.

I kind of want to have my hiya kong sit on a throne. I think it's fine. My shma kong keeps coming apart but when it get it in a pose it's good. I like both companies and they both have pros and cons

If I have the SHMA Kong, would I still I need this to go with the rest of the Hiya Godzilla figures? From what I saw the Hiya doesn’t look like it’s much taller than the SHMA so I’m debating on if this is $50 I can save

@@jericoiivillareal3165 monster arts is more stylized, like many of SHMA’s other figures. Articulation wise, Hiya doesn’t compare at all, SH kong can be put in so many more dynamic poses, which is mostly the reason you buy figures over other things like vinyls or statues.

@@gouritsgeochannel213 Monsterarts Kong is also more delicate The waist and hip joints aren't engineered as well as they should be. They're ball joints connected to a disk hinge. That, combined with the tight nature of the plastic on plastic joints themselves will lead to the joints snapping.

@@GojiraFan-in9oo I see you edited the comment, just curious, why is the sculpt on hiya better in your opinion? Personally, I think SHMA kong has more consistent sculpt with the detailing. hiya, as seen in this video, has some parts of the sculpt less detailed then others (ex. Fur on his back looks a lot softer while fur on him arms look more detailed
