Good video. I have a Emerson Digital Controller , It shows me on the screen p2, the problem is that the evaporator is leaking of ice, it does not do the defrost cycle. You can help. Electric Heater is good 👍
The one your looking for is LS and US possibly just use SET if yours is already mostly set up. Unlike mine many others used before I got to it so all the values are changed and I can't find any source or info about the default values. I know how to change just don't know the rec settings/ factory settings.
The "locking" effect comes from the door making an airtight seal around the perimeter of the door. When you open the door, you let in a blast of warm air, and let out a blast of cold air. When you close the door, the warm air begins to cool. Cold air has a lower pressure than warm air, creating a suction effect that makes it very difficult to open until the pressure equalizes. That your freezer does this is a sign that your gasket is in good condition, and is working properly.

For a company as big as HK International this video is an embarrassment. It tells you absolutely nothing. It was published over 4 years ago and not a single response from the publishers to any of the significant questions raised by the audience who have clearly come here looking for answers that they didn't find. Word to HK. If you are going to engage in social media then at least make an effort to give the job to someone who is competent enough to do so. Whoever produced this crap is clueless not only about engaging with the general public through social media but also at the product level. Once the unit is installed it should be obvious to anyone who has been through that process what the next step is likely to be: set the preferred working temperature. That's what this video should present in a stepwise fashion. Not some general discussion about how to change the many and varied parameters most of which are vague at best as to what they represent. Must do better.
This answer represents the feelings of many people going through the same frustration. There's zero information here on how to actually set anything up.
My prep cooler was messed up! I decided to put everything back to factory default settings. When I did, P2 error started. So, in programming mode I changed my P2 parameter setting back to N instead of Y and the error stopped. My cooler’s manual is worthless.
