Hi, This Channel has been my go to Channel for getting information about the android box. Mostly other RU-vidrs don't give information about the surround sound decoding; but you do. That's why, I love this Channel and hats off to you for your hard work.
I just purchased this box for 50 dollars. Before watching your nice review, I was sure I purchased a copy product. The box and remote are very plastic, definately a lesser quality than I expected. I think I will use the box in the bedroom and get something better for the livingroom. Can you confirm its Wifi 6? Because it just seems to me that they named it Wifi 6. 🙂
@@tvboxstop Not sure what that means. :) I purchased the box because it said it had Wifi 6, which should be more stable and with better transferrate. I have a Wifi 6 router and a Wifi 6 Mesh system. Can you tell if this is true Wifi 6 in the box?
Also I have a problem in some of the apps where I cant use keyboard to go down or up and select content, instead up/down functions as page up/down. Did you encounter that?
Figured this out. I only used this device for almost two days. I found a button the remote controller that has the letters APP on the top. Pressed that and all the applications I have showed on the screen and took me away from KODI. Then I uninstalled KODI using Google Play Store. Once I did that the device began like it should. Did not to reset anything. Happy I found the APP button.
@@tvboxstop No problem. This might help,other out on solving this ordeal. The word thing is that certain applications make the video from the device LGTV screen disappear then reappear off and on. When there is no application chose being on the Home Screen the screen stays perfect.
I installed Nova Launcher and there is nowhere to see all the apps running and close them out....I installed the menu bar app you suggested and the apps button doesnt work....PLEASE HELP
The reason the recent apps feature is not working is due to the fact that the box is not rooted. That feature needs root access to work. So until someone creates a custom ROM or a firmware update is released grant root access that feature will not work.
Mick try doing adb shell wm size 3840x2160 or adb shell wm size 2560x1440 you can also try adb without other pc just use remote adb shell if you are doing that route please remove adb shell just type wm size i'm not sure if it were properly to check current screen resolution adb shell wm size to check karen display density adb shell wm density this will also work on non rooted android boxes
Codecs are part of the firmware compilation when it's being created there is no way to add codecs. However there are that has built-in codecs that can work for example MX player, VLC player, and the latest Kodi Nexus version 21

The box and specs looks fantastic, however it appears that the brand not interested in the US market as it's not available anyway on Amazon only the EU. I will keep my eye on it and if the funds are available I will make an order

The condition for allowing cameras to work on Android boxes require special protection and certification from Google, which most TV Box manufacturers do not want to apply in the boxes. One condition is that they have to block all sideloading of third-party apps. The reason for this is that once you allow camera on not just TV boxes but any Android device there must be privacy laws and protection under device that they need to abide by. And a TV Box manufacturers don't want to portrait or that. It's the same condition that applies to cell phones.
Sometimes that is an app issue where the app assumes control of the volume. You can try both versions of RU-vid. The one seen in the video is the Android TV version. You will not find it on the Google play store, but if you install Aptoide or APKpure you can search for Android TV RU-vid and install that one. Also try updating the app found on the Google play store.
No there is no app to grant you that feature on a non-certified model such as this one. That feature is called the Chromecast is only available on boxes running an official version of Android TV OS with Google Assistant and built-in Chromecast. I ordered one of these without the keyboard and found that I could not install anything from Play Store said it was incompatible, other apps would install but may be missing icons on the launcher. The settings screen did not work properly, you could not exit to a previous screen, it would take you right out. If I tried to install another launcher, there was a green line across the bottom of the screen. When booting up my TV would not recognise it, I had to play around to get it to finally show up. These are only some of the issues I had, so I sent it back. I ordered another box with Android 11 and although I could install apps from Play Store, most of the other issues still existed, it is going back tomorrow. Not sure what to get now. My current Android 9 is acting up and wanted to replace it.

It could mean the EMC internal storage is damaged and cannot boot into its firmware. You can try flushing the firmware if you can get it to connect to your PC. Yes it's quite easy. Go to the settings area and under accounts, select your email and click remove. And your account will be removed from all Google play store and play services. Another way is by going under About in the settings area and open the reset option and reset to factory default. This will however erase everything in the box and start you over from scratch. If you don't want that, go under accounts and delete your email.

That is indeed true, but it could also be a wrong assessment because most boxes when they are released do not have any firmware updates but later do. Some boxes as soon as you connect to the Internet you have one update and there will never be another.
I have an issue with this box. When I select Cast To button on a video app, like RU-vid, this box does not appear in the selections. Does it mean it lacks this important function?
First open the Miracast Receiver App, then on your mobile device run your Miracast display app and search for box. Please note this box does not feature a built-in Chromecast so you cannot cast from official apps such as Netflix and RU-vid. However you can mirror your phone to the box. See how I did it 5:40

With the absence of root access the alternative navigation bar that I use does not grant the recent apps feature. However if you are running an app and would like to put it in the background simply press the home button on the remote while the app is running. To regain access simply navigate through app and open and it should pull up the apps running in the background. As for the recent apps feature you can access that on this box unless you install a custom ROM, for which I have not seen one yet.
I have the T95Z Plus Android 12.0 TV Box. Was booting to Home Screen like it should. Now boots to KODI. I attempted the reset as done here. My Android box will not power on while holding the reset button and power at the same time. My version does not have a power button so I use the remote controls on/off button.
These boxes don't have power buttons. To get into recovery mode you have to press and hold the reset button and plug in the power adapter. Then you navigate the recovery menu with the stock remote. The only boxes I have seen that offers the option to boot directly into apps are IPTV boxes. So am not sure what caused the box to boot directly into Kodi all the time. Some apps have the ability to enable options in the settings area that will write script to the Android system to allow them to boot on startup.
@@tvboxstop Yes. But when the box boots to KODI I choose to shut KODI down using the EXIT choice within the application KODI immediately restarts. Once this device is working again I will uninstall KODI.
Hello man Just got this box yesterday. Look's good and quick but I have a question: Once I turn off my TV then my tv box is off as well. After that I have to turn it on again and it says reboot.... Is there any option on this box to keep it on?? Thank You
Yes under input options in the settings area disable the HDMI control options. This is the same HDMI CEC that links the box's power and your TV's power and volume.
Choosing between this box and a fire stick all depends on the operating system on the type of services you intend to use. If you want to use Netflix, prime video, Disney+ in HD and 4K then you would have to go with the fire stick because it is Google certified with the digital rights to play services in HD and 4K. This box is not fully Google certified so it will play services in 480p resolution only and it's more designed for alternative streaming.
This box is not Google certified or has other DRM rights to stream movie services such as Netflix in HD. It runs on the mobile version and I'm almost sure it does not receive updates.

I have windscribe vpn working on this device. But Google Store gives a message that a lot of apps are not compatible with this device. Even many apks do not install or work with this T95Z PLUS box. Really a disaster to work with.

Yes it will stream 4K 60Hz, but the big question is if the source of the stream has enough upload bandwidth for true 4K 60 Hz, and if your Internet is fast enough to facilitate such a large stream download without too much buffering. So those are the two major factors you need to take into consideration as most modern Android boxes can handle a 4K 60 Hz stream provided it has dual-band Wi-Fi or a gigabit LAN port

Press and hold the reset button usually relocated inside the AV port. Press and hold and then plug in the power while holding until you get the recovery menu. Then using the stock remote use direction keys to navigate to the factory default settings. Another way you can do it is from inside Android under the device preferences sometimes located on or about or at the bottom of device preferences you will see the reset option.

It's going to be difficult, because even though you can install the game from the play store or even sideload via APK, it requires touchscreen function which may or may not respond to most clicks. You may then have to attempts to use a gamepad keymapping app that will not work on this box because it's not rooted.

This thing is a piece of junk. It does not decode dolby or DTS, is not 6K as claimed and nearly blew up my reciever with white noise. Also navigating in Playstore is impossible. Avoid.
No it's not 6K and it does have surround sound audio issues. It's recommended that you use a wireless air-mouse with most pointer feature for navigating instead of its infrared remote.
