Hey 👋🏾 glad you found it helpful In my hall and most of the traditional halls, it’s part of the readmission policy to join at least two clubs in the hall Sports or cultural group I moved in at the beginning of the year and there was lockdown, so I haven’t had the chance yet The only activity i participated in was Chinese New Year 🧧 … you can check out that vlog
thank you so much for the video! i just got accepted into a year long exchange program starting in the fall at HKU. i was just wondering, how many days before the start of the term can we usually start moving into the dorms? I planned on arriving in HK 3 weeks before the first day (2 week quarantine) and then 1 week settling in, but was wondering if the halls would be open for move in by then.
I’m not sure how they treat new hall members But I think you can move in few days before the start of the semester You can also write to the hall office and ask, if you already know your hall. I moved in after the start of the semester so I don’t know much Halls like St John’s college ask their members to arrive a week before for their orientation program

Hey I think HKU considers each application separately because I wasn’t interviewed and so I can’t really give much information about group interviews for admissions. Maybe I’ll ask and edit the comment later on
