On Amazon, these boards are being sold and they say they cover a 3 year manufacturers warranty, but is a 3rd party seller. Will you honor the warranty? I want to know before I buy

This light is awesome. I got mine the other day and I unboxed it today and plugged it in for the first time and I’m helli impressed. It’s expensive but I think the investment will be well worth the extra money for performance and efficiency. I’m new to the hobby of growing and this light is gonna crush it in my 4x4 gorilla tent.

You did good getting a refurbed light. Literally nothing wrong with any of them just may have a scratch or a small dent in the plate. Sometimes We even refurb for slight discoloration. (I build and inspect them btw lol)

How does the Scorpion scatter light better at 12 inches?

Being a board style light, its geared towards penetrating the canopy rather than scatter like light a bar style light. Hopefully that helps

It would depend on my setup, budget, and end goals! Check out this comparison article. horticulturelightinggroup.com/blogs/news/choosing-between-hlg-scorpion-and-hlg-600-650 Here's some important info from it: HLG Scorpion is designed to perform better for grows with low ceiling heights or vertical racks. Six LED modules with wide spacing between the modules allow the Scorpion lamp to spread the light evenly when close to the canopy without any hot spots. HLG Standard series 600/650R takes 3.75ft of height in a grow space. This makes our standard lamp less suitable for growing in vertical racks as vertical space is limited due to 2 or 3 tiers of grow. Also if you have a low ceiling or grow tent under 7' then you may not have enough height for your plants to grow. HLG Standard series 600/650R are the most popular choice for commercial grows as it offers the best Efficiency/$ and Output/$ in the industry.

It’s 5000k chips with 660 351LH Samsung reds here and there making a spectrum of about 4200k .
