Upper order ke batsman ko number 6 pe khilaoge toh konsa performance milega. In number 6 he scored 300 runs in 9 Matches where he didn't even get many overs to Bat at all, whenever he gets chances 90% of the overs gets already over.. He is the highest run getter in Batting position on 6 flr Indian October 2022 to September 2023.

Obsession with T20 is what killing the career of so many tough and skilled guys. We pick players from IPL and other T20 leagues, meanwhile players like Sanju, Paddikal, Rajat Patidar, Abhimanyu Eswaran, Sai Sudarshan are proper ODI players and they have great temperament than many T20 kids

World cup role for surya was to play his natural game at no 6 And for that kind of a swashbuckling role who else do we have other than harkik pandya and surya It was the right choice Sanju would still not fit in the upper order coz of politics and promotion for gill , shreyas,and kl . Imagine someone who debuted in 2015 is just getting a few innings here and there in between low key tournaments. Its definitely unfair to the naked eye and Indian cricket lost so many talented players like this .. sanju just puts limelight on the corruption happening within. And his ipl heroics with rajasthan puts pressure of the viewers back on the board. We the t20 world cup came last time they played him in international Odi to keep him away from the squad And when the odi worldcup came he was shifted to the t20 sqad to play in Ireland and westindies. And he was not included in asia cup because of that . There is materialistic planning if you look at it. Now the next worldcup is t20 and obviously he is playing in the oneday sqaud in SA . By the time the next odi world cup comes along board is gonna say he is too old now Shame to BCCI and i pity the plight of South Indian cricketers. 😅
