Locoman Sounds creates a new 'A3' sound profile and what better way to test it then with this Hornby model of 4472 Flying Scotsman in original 'A1' condition on our 'OO' gauge test track Topley Dale.

The smoke generator leaves a sort of oil texture on the top of the locomotive, I think that is made is look a lot better and more realistic. since the paint on locomotives in real life look glossy and reflective in some cases

Would you consider making a video of how you fitted this all together inside the Scotsman? This is basically the ultimate DCC Steam locomotive in this configuration so it would be fantastic to see how it is all put together

I marvel at how far the hobby has moved on since Palitoy Mainline products were hailed as a quantum leap forward compared to the contemporary offerings from Hornby and Lima at the time. The only problem is the price, to get a locomotive with all the features shown here is going to cost between £300 & £400 including the purchase of the loco itself.
