Revolution Trains is best known for its home-grown products in ‘N’ and ‘OO’ gauge, but it is testing the waters in ‘O’ gauge with the commissioning of this limited edition Class 37/4 from Heljan.

Looks great but how come the sound is just dribbling out when the loco pulls away, not the individual snorts of power which we all know and love??

Yep, the sound isn't as impressive as I'd have expected: the horn sounds flat too.

I think the Legomanbiffo class 37, West Highland or Wensleydale soundfiles, fitted with Good speakers will suit this much better. Plenty of Thrash !!!

Even the cheaper locoman sound is better... ZIMO is simply not capable to do really good diesei Sounds.

This locomotive has a really fine sound chip. It really sounds like the 1960 Class 37 we have at the Epping Ongar Railway!! I’m highly impressed!!

Marker lights are wrong this loco should have LED red tail lights not the originals and the little stickers for the jumper on the nose nest to the headlight is a poor effort. At this scale attention to detail is everything and that's not hitting the mark I'm afraid.

You mean to say you expect them to retool part of the model for a single version?

@@ILikeTransport No of course not. But they could have chosen any ‘other’ 37 from almost any era that would have looked right for this configuration of loco. Why choose the one livery and loco where it is so wrong. Let’s face it everyone loves a 37 and they would sold loads no matter what era and livery. But a Mickey Mouse sticker on the front and not to mention the headlights should be also LEDs.
