Another fun fact: the reason why the tip of the bow section of Britannic is snapped off is because Britannic was 883 ft long...the Agean ocean is only 400 ft deep....so the tip of the bow hit bottom before the rest of the ship and the weight of the ship caused the structure to break

Actually, the Brittanic continued to move while sinking. The spinning Port Propeller, Not the Starboard propeller, got so high out of the water, it even started to chop up lifeboats passing by. The starboard propeller was disabled in an act to turn the ship, because the steering gears were damaged in the impact of the mine.

The only issue I have with this film (And it's a small one) Is the fact that you had the Britannic go down in one fluid motion for her final plunge. When, this isn't what happened. In reality, the ship was actually longer than the sea was deep at the location where she sank, and so, the bow hit the sea floor when the stern was still above the water. The ship came to a complete stop while it flooded, before finally, the ship slips below the waves.

@@kenshinalbirunny6834 Yeah. She was only about two miles from the coast of the Island of Kea when she sank. The ship was so close to shore, that the Captain thought he could beach her, and prevent having to order an evacuation... And he might've made it if the steering hadn't jammed from the mine explosion. It's why the ship continued to press onwards after the explosion, rather than stopping and ordering a complete evacuation. Despite the fact that the Captain didn't immediately evacuate, there were only about 50 casualties from the 1000+ people on board

Brittanic should have been named by White Star Line "Gigantic", but it matched with titanic more or less, and since she had sunk, they kept the named Britannic.

The sinking of the Britannic could have been prevented. The ship hit the mine, yes, But the main reason that she sank other than from the mine. Is that most well more like 98% of the portholes were open. If it was ordered that all the portholes were kept closed the ship would have not sunk.

Actually, it is very possible that the explosion damaged Britannic's frame, which could mean that the watertight doors got stuck and were thus unable to be closed fully.

This animation is great and I can't do anything near to this quality if I tried, but one thing I noticed is how in this animation shortly after the Britannic hits the mine it stops moving. Well uhh, the only reason why literally anyone died on the Britannic is because lifeboats were launched too early and they got sucked up into the propellers because, well, the ship was still moving for a while after the collision the mine. The captain of the ship thought the ship could get to shore (because the Island of Kea was nearby) before the ship sinks.

I know so much about the Tri-Screw Trio (Olympic-class ocean liners) that one could assume I actually visited the wrecks of Titanic and Britannic. Truth be told, I actually do want to visit the Britannic, but seeing as how it’s off of Kea Island in the Aegean, it’s a long way for me to travel. The Titanic, on the other hand, is too far down for anyone to dive outside of a submersible.

Yah this comment may be outdated but yes your right but britannic does have a planed port gantry along with 2 more on the stern but due to the window of time they never manage to install them instead they put a group of boats controled by the classic devits used on her sisters , in the middle of the ship.
