Seeing how well preserved the HMHS Britannic is brought tears to my eyes. It's absolutely remarkable to see such a well preserved ship. One day, the RMS Titanic will be completely gone. And by the looks of it, the HMHS Britannic isn't going anywhere. From what I've seen from the photos of both vessels, they're almost identical. Despite her short career, the HMHS Britannic left behind a legacy that'll last a lifetime.
That won't happen for decades yet for the titanic. They said the upper structure was made of a thinner material. on Titanic. Where the Gym was radio. Housing for funnels, Officers quarters. Bob ballard said too the Anti fowling paint Below titanic. water line is still doing it's job back in 2004. No rust there. The Bow will take a while to completely go away. The mast was a different kind of metal too. The wheel house on both ships were made of wood. That is why on both ships are gone.
Just amazing, I would rather go here to the TITANIC's replica which is fully intact rather than visit the Titanic itself where the risk of imploding myself to minced meat is >70%
It sure is. We run trips to it for qualified divers: www.paragondivestore.com/collections/scuba-travel/products/travel-hmhs-britannic-expedition-september-16-27-2024
Although I may seem like an idiot since I know nothing about diving, the Britannic is only about 400 feet deep, not like her sister Titanic, which is several miles deep. You may be confusing the 2, but yet again I know nothing about diving.
Each diver carried a deep BO, intermediate BO, and several deco bottles. Dil was planned to keep the max PO2 around 1.1 and a gas Densite of 5.0 G/L with an END of around 80'
They are sinking older smaller ships now these days. They are making artificial reefs. cause Fish & other sea life makes their homes in them. The corral On Britannic will help protect the metal on it.
@@KotaCox i know but imagine how many people would come to see the real hmhs britannic, i know i would. they’d make more money then it sitting down there waiting for her to rot away
@@thatvacuumgeek of course, but you have to think of the extensive damages raising the wreck would do. It has a better chance of remaining for hundreds of more years as long as it remains a large artificial coral reef. The coral badically preserves the wreck, and since the water is shallow, the sun shines on it, keeping the wreck an amazing dive.
