My idea what happened: Titanic missed the iceberg and is now currently serving as a hospital ship in the war. HMHS Titanic sank in 1916 by a mine in the Agean Sea within two Greek islands. Britannic sank around 1917, which was when America joined the war. The only reason she would be in open ocean in the North Atlantic was if she was carrying wounded American soldiers to home. Her escorts would pull out that day since they were almost to America. But in the dark, foggy night, Britannic would almost ram into and iceberg but it scrapped her hull, causing water to rush into 5 watertight compartments. It wouldn’t be enough to pump out and Britannic sank into the depths of the North Atlantic. The HMHS Carpathia, who was carrying Canadian soldiers home, would come to the rescue as well as the escorts the Britannic had earlier.
The Britannic has a double hull, and the watertight bulkheads was raised higher(as well as the Olympic's). Also has more lifeboats in place. But um, I'm not sure if any of those had use against a sea-mine. Extra lifeboats work, tho

The Titanic was broken between funnel 2 and funnel 3 because a boiler of funnel 2 was discovered. at the back of the boat The third funnel's boiler was also discovered in the wreckage of the bow.
I believe that the supposed britannic was supposed to break up just right after the 2nd funnel andforward of the 3rd funnel, also i believe some people saw an explosion at the top of the 2nd funnel, Then it collapsed.
