🥒 ABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but currently call Vietnam home. I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer.
If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I'm a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

My only correction- it’s not people who are gathering and don’t know what they are doing. It is an organized massive amount of people working together to prepare for a wedding. It looks disorganized from the outside, but from the inside- it is extremely organized and calculated on who is responsible for what. Also, yay more representation!
@longvxr95
@longvxr95 3 года назад
what are you try to say hehe
@melanieyang1319
@melanieyang1319 3 года назад
@@longvxr95 what I’m saying is, from an outsider perspective, it looks like everyone is just everywhere and doesn’t know what to do-so it looks messy. When really, everyone kind of has an assigned job or duty they are performing. Often times it is not verbalized, and when it is not verbalized, for outsiders the question of “how do you know what to do” would get asked or thought. From an insider perspective, we have been taught over the years what the expectation is, therefore we don’t need to be verbally told what to do. Everyone has a role, and is already performing it.

Many people, especially in the U.S., tend to judge everything from the default lens that they were taught to look through. I am so happy to see these guys not do that. It really shows how thoughtful and respectful they are to the people and places that visit. That's why the light humor works. We know that the humor is coming from a playful silly place. Best travel channel ever! Good job guys keep it up.

I went for my cousin's wedding a while back, and while I was certainly happy FOR her, 95% of the affair was SO LONG AND BORING. The best thing was the food of course, but hardly a true celebratory affair like you see with Punjabi weddings. Regardless, I hope the Covid situation gets better soon.
