This tragedy has shown us how hateful people can be to the point of causing harm without even thinking about consequences. We seek justice for this terroristic intrusion but at the same time it puts lives into perspective. We take so much for granted. America is different than other parts of the world. Anyone can come here, get a job with minimal English and grow to the point where you can invest in a community, buy a car, buy a house, become a musician, sing and develop. People respect other people for the most part and we can all thrive and have a good life. I just moved here from the East Coast, out in Boston and you don't see as many Asians. It's mostly Italians, Irish, Europeans, African Americans and many Latinos. Here in the West Coast you see many Chinese, Filipino, Vietnamese, Japanese. The cultural richness is different and just as appealing. I hope that we can get beyond this and help eachother out being supportive. That is what I am doing.
