These people _are_ being punished. They have had the vast majority of modern luxuries and freedoms taken away from them. A few seconds of video of them singing in a prison cell doesn't mean they aren't being punished. The idea that they aren't being punished because they aren't absolutely miserable 24/7 is just kinda moronic. There's also a reason this woman is a big scandal at the moment. She's an exception, not the rule.

I partially agree, although you shouldn't really discriminate against the opposite sex from taking part in most jobs but female prison officers have had intimate relationships with inmates on numerous occasions within prisons. I'd say the solution would be to just keep female prison officers in female jails only.

But when a prison officer brings illegal things into prison for prisoners such as PHONES and drugs Nd other shit like sleeping with an inmate they automatically get fired arrested and investigated I've been to prison my self so I actually know what happens because I've actually asked one of the those mf as well as I've seen it on the news multiple times so stop making excuses for misconduct
Its not just unprofessional its illegal, theyre not allowed phones and shes clearly not reporting it. Theyre also stupid as hell if youve got an officer allowing you to do stuff like this the last thing you do is record her and get her fired

Screws used to open the cells closest to their desks and stand in the doorways to have a cigarette. It's really not that big of a deal. The only thing here is the phones she's around and not fussed by.
