This is a photographic slide show record of the construction of my scratch built model of HMS Beagle. The model was constructed from walnut timber and brass using plans obtained from Anatomy of a Ship HMS Beagle. Scale 1:64. The build took 24 months to complete.

Beautiful accomplishment Kevin. Was curious what you stained/sealed the frames with? I know modelers use boiled linseed oil and such but it fades over time and needs to be reapplied!

Kevin, my wife is buying me the HMS BEAGLE for a Christmas present......I have built the HMS VICTORY....in a smaller scale.......loved it.....but didn't get ant instructions for mast building or rigging ....so I followed masters as you on how to rig among other needed instructions to build and make a case for it ........but I want to thank you for your video ......it will help me to construct it using you expertise , your mastery...and your compassion for building such a beautiful ship ......my hat is off to you....!
