Do I find it interesting? Absolute. Your explanation is very educational. However, this is not quite what I am looking for. I'd really like to see you work someday. How to take detailed measurements, how to saw, how to file the material, which material you use, how to ensure that everything fits together properly, etc. I miss this a bit in your 2nd recording. Your first shot was more to look at the ship and its parts, study the plan, etc. In your 2nd episode you talk about what you did, but as a viewer I would like to see you do it. However. Congratulations on your beautiful work. It's going to be a beautiful boat. I have been working on the HMS Bounty for a year and a half, but from the brand "Amati". But I still have a lot to learn.
Thanks for the input, it help me create better video content. If you watch more of the videos on the ROYAL SUN build, there are detailed views of how things are done.
Hi Roger. I'm hoping you can help me. My dad is working on this model and he is currently on the masts. He noticed that in the plans, near the top of the mast there is a small zero (the zero with the line thru it), followed by a larger number 1. He was asking me what it meant and there is no reference to it in the instructions. I know you worked on this model a few years ago, but I'm hoping you will still know what it means. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
@@chrisproctor3779 If I remember correctly there is a littel wooden ball on the very top of all three masts. Maybe one of my videos might help. Check out ( HMS Bounty build part #22 ): the other thing could mean one millameter for the end of the mast top.
Thank you for this , very insightful. Glad you figured out the fore and aft and that the right side is cut open for viewing, This is on my retirement list of things to do . Learned a lot watching your build. Nice of you to share it .
