Got this crap in a container, while i had good games with it, it's way too stressful to play, even compared to stuff like Radar mino or Colbert, it's also what makes it fun from times to times, you just clench your buttcheeks 100% of the time. Good video, you conveyed exactly how it feels to play it.

I remember the first time I looked at this ship in the armoury and the good news/bad news nature of it stressed me out enough without having to buy it.

The problem with the ship is that the secondaries are not modeled in world of warships. In war Thunder for example the anti aircraft guns are brutal against enemy ships

I did that middle of the map stunt in convoy mode on Hotspot with the Ohio. By the time the enemy realized what was happening I had killed 4 transports.

Reminds me of the Huanghe. Everyone hated the ship when it came out. I use it to hunt down DDs, it is exceptional in that job. It does force you to play your best game every time

I bought Tiger 59' when it first came out and i dont regret it. So many people dont percive me as a threat and just leave me alone because of how little DPM I do. The only ones that really hate me are other AP only CLs

Wouldn't even be too far fetched to have the reload mod baked into the guns, what with them being Mino guns and all. Then again, having this thing be actually good would probably do more harm than good for the game. Which itself would be so on brand for current Wargaming that it's a small miracle it hasn't already happened.

tiger '59 would instantly become 100% better if they just added HE, which it had irl (it also wasn't even ment to fight in the first place, it was build as a commander's cruiser, not a combat cruiser)

The free Version of it is called Radar Endinburgh. Why you need at some point smoke? Smoke engages static gameplay and without hydro smoke is more in Danger to just get torped.

I play the UK CLs quite a lot, so when this ship came out, and I saw the reviews about it, I took it as a challenge; am I good enough to make Tiger '59 work? I do ok, it's saving grace is it's rare to see and not everyone realises it has smoke and radar, and because it has such a poor reputation, it does get ignored a fair bit.

Got it on release, even though my supertester buddies said it was terrible. "How bad can it really be?" I thought to myself as I shovelled yet more money in the greedy gawping maw of the ravenous WeeGee Beast. Well as it turns out, it's actually worse than you think it could be. Even as a good player (60% account WR, beta tester) I only ever played it for the challenge. Really situational, really hard work, and absolutely hopeless when seeing Xs. Possibly the worst premium in game, at any tier. Uninstalled game months ago, but I can't imagine the powercreep since release has done anything for it. The really odd thing about Tiger is that it's basically devoid of gimmicks - radar/smoke isn't unusual these days. If they'd given it insane reload, ridiculous AA, or Smolensk style citadel, it could have been at least fun.

If Tiger was moved to Tier 7 without stats changes it'd be the next Belfast (the good one, not the shitty Tier 8 clone). At Tier 8 it's awful for padding damage but that ain't its job - it's a full time cap supporter and I imagine div padders do extremely well in it.
