Are the vibrations better now? The OEM mirrors on mine vibrate a lot. Mostly owing to the engine being buzzy at certain RPMs and poor build quality of mirrors.
Waaaaaay better !!! I found the stock mirrors pretty much useless … my shoulders are too wide and yes they would vibrate so bad even at like 35 -4o mph that I couldn’t tell what was behind me. Even though these are knock off/ copies/fakes whatever you want to call them I’m super impressed. 🤓 what part of the world are you riding in?
I usually avoid it more as a precaution in the event of a slight drop…don’t want those dings in the tank…. But as far as clearance I’m pretty sure you’d be fine as long as you keep the arms of the mirrors angled as far forward as possible while still making sure you can see. I should demo one and find out for sure 😁 if you try it before I do let me know what you discover I’d love to know :)
Hi could you tell me the measures and diameters of the bolts you use for the installation of bar end mirrors. I got me from a gift but without the botls and I don't know what size I should buy. A big greeting and thanks for the advice on care of the bike. 🤘🏼🏍️
I actually don’t know the exact size so sorry. Basically you just need the adapter kit that I mentioned in the vid or you could probably talk to your local Royal Enfield Dealer and they could tell you the bolt size. Do you mind if I ask what part of the world you’re in?
No need to replace the bolts with black. Just put some 5mm bolt caps on them. Also keeps rain and debris out of the bolt. Did that for the bar end mirrors on my scout and all the engine bolts....
Good thinking! Is the sun shinning for ya today? We ran up to the Dalles for the holiday weekend…. Just kinda relaxing touring museums .. vineyards …. And the scenery here is so beautiful:)….. ah I need to figure out how to become independently wealthy 😂
I’m actually pretty impressed for the price…. The only thing so far is a little rust where the mirror attached to the arm… the view behind me is waaaaay better and for me that’s totally worth it. The Shotgun 650 I’m doing reviews on have the official ones from Royal Enfield and cosmetically Yes they are flawless :) as far as usability/vibration etc they are about the same :) Thanks so much for watching and dropping the comment … it’s great for others in the chats who are considering to have real world feedback. 🤓
