I have to say, as someone who’s run thru Moody and La Grange, you captured the scenes very well! The back drop @ Moody looks very much like the 1:1 version .
Another great video. It looks so realistic. Being an Engineer out of Temple, I can say your downtown Moody looks so much like it does today. Same with La Grange, but the loads to LCRA run south, and the empties run north. It's also 25 thru town because of the sharp curve on the north side of town before you get to the big iron bridge. I always enjoy watching your videos, and keep up the awesome work.
Great scenery, realistic, but those crossing bells give me a headache, too loud! And why not run longer freights like the prototype trains? I'd love to see a 100+ car train
When I was hauling freight down to Laredo I loved seeing all of the UP and BNSF trains, both UP and BNSF pass thru CorsicanaTX and then crossing BNSF yard at Temple TX!! Then the last 125 mile stretch down to Laredo on 35 South UP trains from San Antonio would pace me both ways, so cool!!!!
WOW! All i can say is WOW! Your layout is fantastic and the attention to detail is simply OUTSTANDING! I just ran across your channel and sub'd right away after watching this video. Simply INCREADIBLE!
This is in Lafayette or lake Charles correct? I’d really like to come by the next time I drive through there this is the best representation of what Texas railfanning looks like. I just hope I can replicate the realism rewinding the clock back 100+ years to the golden age on me south coastal Texas layout
I pass by La Grange on my way to and from Houston. Unfortunately living in Austin for now. Just to let you know, Kato is releasing the most current baggage car for Amtrak!
Excellent video--how big is the layout and where those buildings built using 3D printer coupled with old fashioned balsa wood and paint? Beautiful work! I bet it took over a decade to build..
Thanks. The layout is about 1100 sq.ft. You can see the plan and other details on the presentation video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_NHY8FZ7QhM.html The modern buildings you see are kits I make. You can find them on my website www.summit-customcuts.com
the only thing i can think of to add to your video /layout is maybe you can add a fan so the trees look like a breeze is flowing....idk, just a thought
@@sgtdebones They may have the wrong sound files. The electronic bell sound was one I found on a Google search with no information of brand 10 years ago. I found the model bell housings just a few months ago. It is one of those little things most people would not notice.
