Hoarder house! Picking antique treasures to sell at the flea market! House clean out fun! 

Wow, I'm blown away at all the quilts!! Even the old ratty ones have good value on ebay. This one room has so many things that I would want to keep lol. How do you not become a hoarder with access to all that! Can't wait to see what wonderful treasure you are going to find in there. Dave does the family not want any of the items? ✌✌✌✌

We have very similar tastes Dave. I've been buying stuff for 18 years now with the hopes of selling it after retirement. I've been retired now for over five years and I haven't sold anything yet. Think I have a problem.

You should give the cedar chest to your daughter so that she could start her ‘dowery’. In today’s world it would be cool for her to start gathering stuff for her home.

I'm not sure why but it breaks my heart every time I see others going through someone's things! Why can't the family see what value there is in this house? I mean OMG they are paying someone to make money on their family members stuff and getting nothing but a bill! I think it's such a shame! Plus the family has no idea if the things they are finding are personal items they may want! IDK it's just all so heart breaking! Having gone thru all my parents things after they passed I knew to take the time and look and save the important things and to sell the other stuff...😪

I loved the embroidered quilts. I have done some and they take many hours to do.

That inlaid box with the ivory keyhole is a sewing box. The top tray probably had compartments with a pin cushion built into one.

Dave please don’t leave much stuff there .. after you’ve picked through the house get some boxes and take as much as you possibly can load up put it in your storeroom until you sort it out... I’m sure even those piles of plates and glassware will even cover you on basic flea market selling days... you deserve any good fortune that comes to you both cos you take the rough with the smooth days...by the way it was lovely seeing Darwin in his hat the other day.. 🙏🙏🙏👍👍

I see you pulling those quilts and just smile. My Moms Grandma and Great Grandma made her a double ring quilt when she was 12. (She was born in 43.) I use that same quilt now. I have patiently repaired it here and there with cotton fabric from my Mom's closet. ☮

Lindsey is smart wearing a mask while going through all of that dusty stuff. Those quilts...I know it's a lot to go through, but I see some great value in some of that. That cat lamp is amazing!

WOW! Thats a nice cleanout for sure. I did one last month, wasnt much for good stuff. Ended up getting two hundred dollar pieces. A few totes of toys. Then about 400 dvds. Good thing was it was a paid cleanout. we got 900, they paid for roll off dumpster on site. I paid 2 guys to help 1 day labor. So all in all it was a good day, but no treasures like this. awesome finds!
