i really respect the artist carving around the original nail in the door; keeping the door's history even while reworking it so it can be a part of something new.
This house is so cool and y'all put this format together perfectly!! Feels like a classic Travel Channel sort of show. Samantha Brown esque! Really excited for more of these hopefully!!
Perusing that listing... I loved that outdoor fire pit. Did you use it? A very creative construction there. Did you end up buying one of their custom "Hobbit House" mugs?
Unfortunately no on both accounts! Our visit was very short as it was in between my brother's wedding and heading back to LA for work - we were only there one night and we got in pretty late. Would have loved to have given the fire pit a try!
Love how beautifully thought out everything in that house is, and the craftsmanship is *chef’s kiss*! Thanks for taking us on a little tour and I’m excited to see where you go next!!! 😊
i’ve been saving this video for the right time because i love the cute vibes and it’s perfect before sleep viewing! really hoping the campaign is successful!
What a cute place! Thanks for sharing your experience! I remember seeing an article about one in Virginia and it looks like it's still up and running. It's in Fairfield, Virginia on airbnb - A Warm Hearth and "All the Comforts of Home".
Your pure joy and delight in this is in turn a delight and joy for me to behold, especially as I am also a lover of Tolkien and Hobbiton, with dreams of going to New Zealand! Also, I have heard tell of a Hobbit home in Oregon, and if you can, you should definitely add it to the list to check out and share with all of us. :D
So beautiful! I love the moss above the pots and pans, windows, and letter station! It looks like a wonderful stay! Thank you for sharing and i cant wait to see future ones :)
I believe it was all built/made specifically for this house! The owner was telling me how the width of the metal design is a little thicker than in the movies, but the design itself is the same.
You were in Russellville?! That's only an hour from me! Ugh. You are my favorite Lydia. I'm so glad you enjoyed this trip and the Hobbit House. It would be fun to stay in for sure. Great idea for a series!!
It looks like a normal house to me🤷🏻♀️hobbit houses are mainly built small and semi underground. I think Frodo’s home had a tree growing around it. Their front door is circular. This house has some cool features to it but on the outside it just looks like a normal house! It kinda reminds me of a cabin on the inside! Does this home have a fireplace?
