We looked at the hobby before deciding on the Adria. The caravans are solid and very well thought out. Some of the higher spec get a bit to bling and shiny for us but this level is better. Not to keen on the styling on the outside of this one, but some of the other models look really smart. Another great video, thanks for the tour round and look forward to your future content with Hobby.

Bk in 2002 you could get a brand-new hobby caravan for £9000 price has go up so must

Some good points below. I just wonder how high it is under the drop down bed ok for you but what about a 6ft person. Shame you did not do more on the bed as very new to us Brits. Well done Karina. Just watched Dan's blog on older caravans makes me think yes always blogs on new vans. Yet most of us own vans over 5 years old.

Hobby builds more caravans each year than all the British caravan manufacturers combined, so they are doing something right. The reason they stuck with the traditional plywood sandwich bobble aluminium walls over the new plastic walls favoured by British caravan manufacturers is weight. They are much lighter. Some may say that plastic composite is better from a damp point of view, but Hobby believe that keeping the damp out in the first place is better. All the wall joints are covered to protect the joint sealant from UV light, which would normally break down the soft flexible sealant. Another reason why Hobby caravans tend to have a single window on the front instead of these huge multi window front ends with roof windows etc. Hobby feel that front caravan windows have the highest water ingress risk, so in maintaining a single window design, means less window edges to fail. In addition less windows at the front and back of a caravan improves the overall rigidity. Less caravan flexibility will preserve the wall seals for longer, again keeping the water out and increasing the lifespan of the caravan. Until the British wake up to the quality of these German built caravans, they will remain the preserve of the UK travelling community, maintaining the stigma we find in the UK. Pop over to the continent however and you will be hard pressed to find a pitch without one.

I agree with you on these points. I'm Norwegian towing a Hobby myself. If you brits can throw away your "must have design" of dual sofa with cupboard at the front in every caravan you make, you would be surprised about the flexibility and different layouts which could come available. ;) The british vloggers going to the german fair yearly rarely comment much on the various layouts available in Europe, mostly complaining about missing electrical hob and microwave :P

Thanks for watching, on reflection we didn’t explain it clearly, the sofa is a double, then the drop down is a double above it. The dinette is a large single and then there is the bunk. Hopefully that make it a bit clearer. 😊

That would sleep a lot more than 7. I'd put 3 in the upper double, 3 in the lower, 2 toddlers in the bunks and parents in the large single. You could even potentially fit more providing they vary in age and nobody is too fat 😂
