By pitch up I mean cyclic forward, of course.

That's exactly what happened with mine: a stall when turning. I tried with the second one not to give it hard inputs to avoid inducing the stall, but the darn thing stalled anyway. It's not as easy to fly as a fixed-wing aircraft or a collective-pitch helicopter, at least for me. Another thing is that I wasn't using any stabilization on this aircraft. The model has not problems if you know how to flight.

@maxun1 I agree with your statement. I'm heading to your channel right now to learn how it's done, although my autogyro is already deeply buried in the city dump.

@maxun1 As I said, I visited your channel and checked all your videos all the way back to 17 years ago, looking for any of you flying an autogyro, and guess what? As expected, there were NONE. Moral of the story: the next time you dare to tell someone that they don't know how to fly, make sure first to be prepared to demonstrate that you really know what you're talking about through experience. I don’t think so. RU-vid and Google might help you with advice on how to fly these aircraft, but the real test begins when you actually try to fly them for real. I mean, I have 11 years of RC flying experience, and none of it helped me control this aircraft properly. Thank you very much for visiting my channel and leaving your very appreciated comment. Yo pienso que tal vez por eso se me hizo tan difícil lograr dominarlo. Yo no quería volarlo tan bajito, pero cada vez que trataba de cambiar de dirección de vuelo, el condenado se iba directo al suelo...🤦🏾‍♂️ No había modo SAFE en ese autogiro. La verdad es que no vale la pena gastar dinero en este modelo. Solo muy pocos han logrado aprender a volar esta aeronave... Gracias por tomarte el tiempo y contestarme:) En el video no se ve bien en detalle pero al comienzo me llamo la atención que subiste bastante, bueno y Luego bajaste rápido 😬 No me di cuenta que solo era en los cambios de dirección pero aun me es un poco sospechoso el tipo de control de la aeronave. Y se podría usar un gyro/SAFE en este tipo? Quizás del tipo helicóptero? Pero es bastante diferente… Yo soy nacido en Alemania (mi madre es alemana) pero criado en Chile. Y luego de los estudios me vine a Alemania y me casé. Así que fijo aquí. Ahora he encontrado este hobby y conocido bastante gente simpática. Antes me dedicaba al ciclismo y triatlón y tambien conocí buena gente. Saludos desde Grafing bei München!

​@ficosk8 Saludos... He visto otros videos en donde han utilizado Gyros en este Autogyro. Si lo usas tienes q ajustarlo xomonsi fuera un avión y no un helicóptero. Pienso q tal ves si funcionaria... Yo llevo 11 años en este hobby y es la primera vez en la q no puedo volar una aeronave correctamente... Quien sabe, tal ves soy yo quien no sabe hacerlo...pero me pongo a pensar, como es posible q una persona q vuela aviones, helicópteros y EDF Jets , no pueda dominar esta madrecita de hybrid entre avión y helicóptero 😱🤦🏾‍♂️ , peronpues asi fue... @@mitchilito99 yeah. One big disappointment is the rotor is controlled only for the roll control. The nose up and down motion is controlled via elevator like a fixed wing. Because of this you basically lose the elevator control at very low speed. One of the beauties of Autogyro is its ability to purely autorotate and gently descend and land with the motor off. You cannot do that with this model.

I bought two of them because I couldn't believe that even with 11 years of experience in the hobby flying fixed wings and collective pitch helis, I wasn't able to control this aircraft. As you can see, the second one also suffered the same fate. 🤦🏾‍♂️ Don't throw your money away. Get something else that you can truly enjoy flying. I dont get it either Jeff, mine is so docile, it looks like hes not leveling it out after a turn, thats my guess. I need to do more flights, showing my stick movements I think and explaining what Im doing.

@@JohnVHRC He flew the model like a airplane and is not, he bank to turn without using the rudder, like a knife edge maneuver, haaaaa that will not work at all.

Thank you very much for visiting my channel and leaving your much-appreciated comment, my friend. 😊 On the very first flight, I was flying it as a fixed-wing aircraft, but I stalled it while turning. In subsequent flights with the second aircraft, I lowered the aileron rates and coordinated my turns with a mix of elevator, rudder, and aileron, but I still stalled it. Maybe autogyros are not my thing... I blame these crashes on pilot error because I couldn't figure out a way to maintain level flight after a turn, causing the aircraft to stall and crash... This autogyro is too fragile as well, and it breaks very easily. Anyway, I decided not to keep trying. I'll stick with my fixed-wings and my helicopters...😁 I'm glad that you like my shirt... @@JohnVHRCI agree with your first assessment. To much aileron. From all the videos I’ve seen (including yours), it appears you use the rudder about 80% of the time and aileron very sparingly. No need for coordinated turns unless you are 3x higher.

@@bigrickRC1144 all my turns are coordinated, ailerons to bank and rudder to steer, on this one for me, then ailerons to keep the roll how you want it and to flatten it back out.

@ricardopr54 I sure will. At the moment I fly foam with motors and radio fitted by myself. I figure if it ends up in the lake, it won't matter as much. Lost a drone in it few years ago. All the best from Western Australia.
