wow!!great boat at the last boat!!pursuit was dialed in!!tnx for showing!!loved you driving rc boat while in a real boat!!!best way to show off boats!!!tnx again that was a whole lot fun!
Thanks HobbyKing! I built my 26" Arowana Anti-Turnover Bout with 2000Kv motor+ 120A SeaKing and she flat out SCREAMS on the Lake! after 50+ the boat starts getting shaky, but no worries!...It flips right backup!
They are both good boats so it depends what you want out of them. The genesis is built for pure high speed thrills. The stock motor on 4 cells is good for around 50mph. The princess is a great all around pleasure boat and handles even the roughest water with no problems. Top speed on 3 cells is around 20mph but could probably be improved with a better prop and 4 cells.
Running r/c boats and hanging out with friends. That's what it's all about guys! Wish you could hang with the Hansen Dam crew. :) PS: This has the BEST dang video footage of the Princess boat EVER!!
Most rc boats will stay dry inside if you completely tape the hatch down. The easiest ones to keep water tight have a square hatch because they are the easiest to tape down. Some boats like the Princess have a hatch that can't be taped down so water will get in if capsized.
I have never run the Outerlimits boat from HK and probably won't get the chance to since we are no longer doing reviews for HK. All I can tell you is from looking at the pictures it looks like a nice boat. It's smaller than the Princess and has a higher kv motor capable of 4s so should be quite faster. It won't be as stable as the princess because of the stepped vee-hull design the higher speeds. Stepped vees are more sensative to rough waters.
Nice video guys, love the boats. Great driving from inside the real boat Pauly. And awesome camera work from in side the ral boat as well. Good job guys.
It only happened for us one time and I think we were just lucky that time. It does not have a flood chamber like most boats that are designed to self right
DiehardRCaddicts'm in doubt between buying a genesis or princess I can tell by your experience what is the difference between the two I bought a 180a esc turning of two nano tech 4500ma batteries that I use in parallel, which boat you advise me I will use it in lakes and rivers, please me some tips
If the power system (motor, esc, battery) can take the extra load of a bigger prop the boat should go faster. always go up in prop size a little at a time then check temps after a short run to see if anything is getting hot. You can also use a watt meter to make sure you aren't overloading the system. If you put too much load you risk burning something up.
hello DiehardRCaddicts, analyzing the genesis saw more runs however have a problem over flip that would be bad for me as I navigate in very large lakes, then saw that the princess is very stable but more slowly, so I saw the site of the Outerlimits hk that you can tell me it comparing it with the other two required
that pursuit looks to handle real well. I had a shockwave 26 last summer and at more than 3/4 throttle it became really unstable. and then at low speeds it did not turn sharply. it should have been able to do 45mph, but I rarely got it above 40.
To have a better water cooling system it should have a scoop fixture at the middle of the hull much like water bombers have for filling up. With the pickup at the back I can't see it being very affective of picking water up to send through the hose to get to where it is needed to cool the motor and ESC.
i purchased the hobbyking 120amp marine esc actually two of them on the same order hooked them up in two boats went to program them with the hobbyking marine esc program card first one hooked up pluged batt got program menus the other one same batt and nothing card wont power up ............help! i posted vid of this on my channel
Just added a link to the motor used in the Genesis and and a link to the motor used in the Pursuit rc boats. They are in the video information bar below the video.
I just got this boat in the water after getting it during the winter. Running the stock setup, with 180ESC, 4s battery. Cant get it to run right. Hard Torque Roll to the right. Very Unstable on plain, sometimes it will lean to the right, and then suddenly it will lean hard left. I added a set of Traxxas Trim tabs, they didn't help a bit. I then made a battery tray and mounted it side to side right in front of motor, that didn't help. This boat is very top heavy. I see all the videos on here and every bodies boat runs so good. Speed seems good on 4s, but i am never able to run it full throttle because it is so Unstable. What can I do to make this boat stable? I'm ready to sell it and try another style boat.
Tim Saleski All our videos of the Princess boat were with recommended 4000mAh 3cell battery. The torque to the right side is probably because of the extra power of running on 4s. If you are using the stock prop try propping down a size or two to eliminate some of the torque. You can also off set the battery to the left side to help keep it from rolling to the right. Also play around with the prop strut angle up and down to see if that helps.
