Testing the upgraded motor and transmission made by RCAWD for this RC while turning down the throttle rate on the controller for a more scale trail drive
@@deanmachinerc Would Love to own a Real one. Great for camping :) Or just in the Driveway :) Anyways, that RC is Awesome. The white rims look perfect on it.
This one has become way better with the throttle dual rate turned down some. I am loving the way it drives and hopefully with the plastic gears replaced with the RCAWD steel ones that came with the 370 combo kit for it the RC as a whole will last a long time issue free. I appreciate your thoughts on it as there are very few rc vans on RU-vid! I definitely wanted a 1980’s era van look and I believe this one does a good job at it. An A-Team 1/10 scale trail rig is a dream of mine! Stay cool man!☮️
@carloshnunez awesome! I was gonna ask you for some more details but then afler looking at it, i see exactly what you mean and that would be perfect! Im gonna do that mod today since its a rainy day. It will help with the wheel scrub and the aweful slapping noises when the tires smack the body. Thank you friend and if you see any other of my videos and have suggestions than please feel free to let me know of them! I love this hobby and hope to have this channel going for a long time coming. 👍☮️
@@carloshnunez I just finished the mod you suggested and now is at the perfect height! I originally adjusted the shock height screw hole to the max and it still just didnt quite get it but I just didnt want to buy longer shocks to get the added height but I was going to. Now with your mod it is finally perfect and complete. Thank you friend, I will follow this up with a good trail/crawl video to show the added height in action. Sadly its raining here and I cant even take it out to my trail. Soon though! Stay cool and RC on! 👍☮️😃👊😎
The more i slow it down with the throttle dual rate ive noticed the more slow speed control i have. That is what made it much more enjoyable to drive. I literally shelved this one for months since I wasn’t pleased with all the speed and it being so difficult to cruise along at a scale slower speed but now that I decided to get it out and work with the adjustments the transmitter provided it has plenty of slow speed control and nice modulation without sacrificing too much power. I was able to crawl on my rock course with it really well and that was when I decided to take it to the trail and test out a scale trail drive with good results. Now with the throttle rate on high it literally has so much punch that if I remove the added weights to the front than it will pop wheelies which sounds fun but is way too much punch to enjoy a nice slow speed controlled scale trail drive. Great slow control now though with the adjustments I am able to easily make. Thank you for a great question and RC on friend!☮️😃
