In Korean instead of "I'm in my element" He actually said "I'm a fish in the water" which is the same meaning BUT when you put it up next to the other water references in that verse it makes for crazy cool word play!
omg thank u for saying this i thought i was going crazy 😭 i kept thinking "is he saying fish" but when i looked at the captions it said Im in my element so i was like i must be hearing wrong lol
HE IS BEYOND KPOP! Only j-hope have the balls to be adventurous with his sounds! His HopeWorld have so much genre in one song! He is that good and confident since he could do it all! He is the best of the best! He never stagnant! Keeps on learning! Now that is a true musician! An artist!
We’ve never seen this dark side of hobi. I think it’s genius to reveal it completely with this album, using the metaphor of jack in the box. I’m so impressed that he was able to take something he hid in the past and turn it into art.
Caitlin:”what just happened?!?” Me exactly! Your reactions are the best- always expressing how we all are feeling when we watch. Thank you for all that you do! Oh and PS- enjoy Stray Kids tonight !
I died at 6:36, I adore when you do edits like this. You are correct madam, this is not J-hope, this is bias wrecker 3000. Its like he knew that we all love the Kpop but inside each of us has a deep rooted love for rock like this.
I think hobi has like extremely cool style - i enjoy every song of him, last album was the best, and this i fell like going to be even better. He also always the one who is open to exploring new styles. He is just the best, i fell like i shouldn't say that but I'm glad that they decided to stop all together bc i think all the music that they are going to put out is going to be more appreciated
I didn't even know that J-Hope was going to release any song! I just saw it as recomended and decided to check it out and boy.... My reaction to More was like WTF? Honestly, I didn't expect this type of song from J-Hope! Still this song slaps hard.
I was looking forward to your reaction the most and didn't expect it so soon since I know you're Busy, so thank you!!! Honestly Hobi's voice in this has me weak in the knees 🥴🥴 and yeah I am even more ready for his album!
it's like ever since I became army and even BEFORE I was an army BTS never failed to surprise me and take me to another world- because like..what the HECK. They're just different in the best way idk.. I love them 🤧💜❤️🔥💜
I think I know why I love this so much: the vibe reminds me so much of an ratm / run the jewels banger, and I did NOT think that was possible in k-pop. Hats off to him!
The part he says I'm reckless is scary because he has been put up in a box for 9 years, 9 years being cautious for now to blow up, now he is showing his real side. He's been showing us what he can do, and we now what he can do, but at the same time he hasn't been showing us what he can do while being reckless, and we don't know what he can do! If you guys know what I mean!!!!
Rock music and hip-hop are suitable for Jhope's beautiful and strong voice. He makes his own unique metal hip-hop in Rock; Jhope is no longer a street dancer, but he is the hardest workman in his jumpsuits. He seems to want to express behind the dark society that constantly copies idols in the box. Even though he has to live as a clown and zombie constantly to become an idol of many people, he still feels thirsty to see more more more fans he can breathe in and out of what he feels is alive. He's a real genius for this metaphor to show a clown and zombie as an idol. Next time, I guess Jhope will come out of the dark box into the Sunlights; he will gain freedom as an artist. In chapter 2, he wants to shout freedom: He feels alive outside the box and will meet more fans.
The box had the entire set in it .. as if he was walking through the box... remember at the start there was a hobie "jester" (Jack) and opened the box? lol
grunge hobi hits in a way i was totally unprepared for. like i TRULY did not comprehend how much i needed this in my life until it started playing. there's sunshine hobi, and then there's dark side of the moon hobi or whateverthef*** you wanna call this, but either way, this man... this MAN💀
I never expected that I mean seriously?? J-Hope looks so different in the music video everyone knows his personality because we're used to it I think he deliberately adopted this new style anyway the song freaking badass!!! 😎
we are going to see the real side to the guys!! I can't wait to see how his album sounds and the rest of the guys solo albums and when they come back as a group how they will meld all their sounds again
the way ARMYs are preparing their ARMY Bombs for Hobipalooza with Hobicore design, then this dropped 😂 it might be a mix of colorful and dark ARMY Bombs
We went on a dark and crazy adventure with JACK not Hobi, ITS JACK. Oh my gosh....still recovering, but I'm shook every time I listen and watch this. Soooo GOOD!
It would be curious where J-Hope goes with this moody look & feel. It would be cool to see him follow in Seo Taiji's footsteps, the Father of KPop who BTS has collaborated with & remade some of his music, with perhaps J-Hope bringing back the NuMetal sound (basically rap-rock or rap-metal) back in fashion after 20-25 years later which Taiji made fashionable in SK in his heyday in the 2000's.
I was so sad that when it came out i didn't have my phone on me so i was two days late 😭 but omg i remember replaying this like 100 times after it was literally so good and still is 🤭 fun fact at 7:49 if you see behind the scenes you'll see that tae was a cameo in there 😭🙏
I would appreciate it more if she would rest. Honey we love you for putting out a lot of videos, but you need to rest before you burn out. Please take care of yourself and like the other comment in your other video I will also go to Chicago and make sure you rest.
