I like that cable management sleeve, great Idea! I'm trying to decide if I want to go with the stakeout pole like you have or just go with the power pole since I already have the unit. I also don't want that pole sticking up all the time lol. Have you found the stakeout pole being a pain or does it work out well?
It works great. Only thing is it does adds weight, which just depends on if your trying to go ultra lightweight and simple or not. And because its not all the way in the back, it should be easier to get to when you don't want it sticking straight up.
Possible to give me links to the harm in striker and all the mounts and adapters needed as I just purchased my lynx and I’m mostly a fly fisherman but want to outfit it for bass. Im a female so I’m not completely sure. I have my rails but need the battery set up, the harm in and yak attack mount and anything else. Thank you so much for the advice 😊
Yea I don’t think side scan works with this method I should have been more clear. I am waiting for some sidescan transducer adapter to come back in stock. I just don’t use side scan all that much so I’m just being patient on that, but everything works great and it’ll be perfect for CV fish finders.
@@BlueSummitOutdoors Berely Pro makes one that protrudes down under the kayak enough to allow sidescan. Pros and cons: pro, sidescan would work perfectly; con, susceptible to damage hitting rocks or loading into truck. I’m still researching power options too like Bixpy, Torqeedo and Texas Paddle (which uses the transducer pocket for its little motor).
I’ve been contemplating getting the BerleyPro adapter, maybe down the road. Yea seems like the best options right now are in the drive well with torqeedo and bixby
