Thanks for the video, I am about to stick mine down. I like your technique and the overhead view of the process. I got 2 of the Exterior kits to match the stock mat so I don't have to remove it. Mine did come with the scupper cutouts but not the holes for the power pole mounting points.

I got the “exterior” part number for my Lynx. Did not have to remove the factory Mirage Lynx Foam. Marine Mat was able to provide the exact color that the factory uses (they make the mat for Hobie). Great video - thank you. Searched for an instructional video on how to apply mine.

Yeah there is a small difference between the factory one and a full pro kit on thickness. All good either way. The lynx is an awesome platform for fishing! Thanks for watching!

Great video I'm glad I watched until the end to find out that there were no scupper holes. Did it get resolved? That's a deal killer for me since I use a kayak cart.

Yes sir, all good now. I think my mat was one of the first cut for the lynx. They have resolved the pattern now. Thanks for watching.

@@chrisgrantfishing1409 lol. yea, learned the same way you did. it's a great yak, but that outer layer is way too delicate. i'm thinking i may need to wrap it after next season.
