This is my favorite of the Hobie line & I’ve been on a bunch of them. Its got the speed, maneuverability, stability & storage space. Not to mention it’s only 70lb. Light for a quality pedal yak. This hull is a blast on the water.

@@emersonyang1485I spoke to one of the owners of a Hobie dealer in my area. They didn’t sell a ton of them. Most of the Revo sales went to the 13 & 11. Wished I could’ve snagged a leftover after they stopped production. But I absolutely love my 13. Rumor has it, the Revo line will soon be gone altogether. Such a shame. That hull is pure Gold.

Started with a revo, thought i needed something bigger and better and bought a new outback and sold it a year later. Fishing the texas marshes the revos size and maneuverability are second to none. Outbacks and above are just too much boat to lug around the mud given the pedals are useless once your in the marshes. Looking to get another revo here soon.

Would this be good kayak for lake trolling (mostly kokanee) looking at the passport 10R also, it is wider more stable,,not sure if thats a reason to choose passport over the revolution?

It will be more stable. You might like the 12.0 passport better. Revolution is fast though!

I would on lakes. Depends on the river. This kayak will absolutely cut through the water.

@@thebeardedpaddler do you mind explaining why you say it depends on the river? With the kickup feature the mirage should handle shallow rivers right?

@@fishinbite it will but depending on how shallow it is you may be better off paddling it.
