not bad set up at all, very impressive. I have a hobie tandem Island myself but this is the way forward if you don't want that exrta expense, saying that the TI is everything and much more.
Nice job on setting up that roller furling. Good to see that you have stabilizers. A tip in case you haven't learned it yet: If at least one of the "Tell-Tales" (the black things hanging down on the side of the sail) is being held straight back by the wind, then your sail is set correctly in relation to the wind and you're at your top speed for that direction in that amount of wind.. This does not apply if the wind is behind you. GOD bless your learning to sail. I don't believe in luck.
Suggestion: Your Mirage Drive is down in the water, no good for sailing... you need to pull the MD, put it in the tank well, and install the Hobie Dagger Board... then you'll start having fun
hello just wanted to know what did you add to your seat back. also just wanted to know if you can post some pictures of your hopie the way you have it rigged for fishing i have a revo and its hard to find good pictures of them rigged, thanks
Will this modification work on the Hobie Mirage Outback (also has sail in front)? Seems to me that it would. Once I dig it out of storage, I'll have a much better idea!
