Just got my Revo 11 which is much narrower and less stable than my old yak but I am enjoying it even though I've already been for a swim. Have been looking at the 'floaties' for it and found many positive posts on them. Thanks for your video, it's icing on the cake.
I just bought the kicks and I have one question and one remark. Is it better to surf launch/land with or without (can't find videos) and the idea of taking them out while in the ocean is nearly impossible at least brand new, as they are EXTREMELY tight fit. I'm sure in time they may eventually get loose. I am considering sanding them a bit
I had no problems but which part is tight??. if it is the outer arm sliding into the central tube then give the outer tube and the inside of the mounting tube a light sanding. This should help. I expect the surf launch will be more difficult with the waves hitting the sidekicks as you head out. Also check there is no tube distortion under the clamp.
Sir I just picked up the Scotty Stabiliers, but have not yet had a chance to make that first trip with them on I see you said that the stability was really increased,, excellent by the way would you say that there was some drag created or not really thank you
