I love that you shared this info ~ it really cleared up some confusion I was having on Chic Sparrow sizes/what fits etc. Also TYVM for the folder tutorial
Your folder hack is AMAAAAZIIIING. This totally changes things. I have always disliked the idea of putting my hobonichi on strings in a TN. Now it is an option again, woohoo! Thanks so much for thinking of it and sharing!

I feel you so much, I bought yesterday my first Mr Darsy buttered rum and I am so excited! I really want also a Sojourner in stag leather but I am gonna wait for a few months because I really want to appreciate and use first my Mr Darcy tn! My experience have shown me than more than one tns in the same time don't get the attention that each one deserves😊 I am so happy when I am notified for your videos and this maverick and the pocket plus set up is so elegant!

Hello!!! Just found your channel and am SMITTEN with that glossy Maverick! Do you know how common/rara that surface is for a Maverick? I think I'd only love that cover if it was glassy smooth like yours... Also, in your opinion, is the deluxe too bulky to work with a Hobonichi? It's the only option available on the CS site atm. :(
I’m glad you’re here!! I have been buying Mavericks for a year and I’ve never gotten one that was glassy like this. It seems to be the stock of hides they got in, so I would order as soon as you can. The deluxe PP would still work, IMO, you just may not be able to fit as many additional inserts as I have (but I have a lot in there 😂).

I actually have it in passport and an A5 (but I cut it down to standard)! It's a great option! The leather seems to vary from batch to batch but it's really nice and a great affordable option. Most closely resembles the Midori leather to me.
Hi! Great video, I love the set up and I consider you my go-to source for Mavericks 😀 After seeing all of yours I bought my first Chic Sparrow - a Maverick Deluxe in B6 slim and I love it! I’m thinking of purchasing a Maverick in pocket size, and am debating between classic and deluxe. I know you have both classic and deluxe Mavericks and was hoping you would give me your opinion on which you prefer. Thanks!
Aw, thank you! I have a deluxe pocket and it’s pretty stiff and thick, which I don’t mind. If you like to stuff your TNs, a deluxe may not suit you in pocket size. That said, deluxe maverick models will either be discontinued or get a huge price increase so the time is now to buy deluxe!!
Sarah Martinez thank you!! Hmmm you may be right, now is a good time to buy a deluxe! And for future purchases (😂) is the classic noticeably more flexible or pliable than the deluxe?
In general, the classics are way more pliable than deluxe. So I enjoy having the smaller sizes in classic. The bigger sizes handle the stiffness better.

Interesting as I ordered my first Maverick in the weeks cover and it looks exactly as your Pocket Plus, I had the same reaction but as you use it love takes over 🤗
I didn't know about the sale until you just mentioned it. Do you know how long it will be going? Meaning, more than just today? I don't have money until the 15th. UGH. What a shame to miss out when I have things on my list.

I wanted a a5 maverick but I couldn’t get it everything was sold out I was online at the moment the sale started so I looked at other leathers and I had one a5 in my basket but it sold before I could check out I was so disappointed all a5 we’re gone but I really wanted a maverick your collection is stunning so I thought well I e wanted to try a b6 and I was able to get it in the maverick yea but man that sale was brutal it was like a store Black Friday where everyone goes crazy 😂
Oh no! I think the sale started with lots of things already sold out as well (like the e class) and with things going out of stock in seconds after the sale started, it was slim pickin’s! I looked at a wide Maverick but it was sold out already too. I’m glad you got a B6 though! I just got some leather samples in the end. And now we all have to wait impatiently for shipping😂
