I am planning on using Hobonichi A6 for my 2023 planner, and I am still thinking about what to buy but the side-by-side comparison was very helpful. Thank you for that.
I have these for as my journals for this year! I paired the notebook and day free together as my art journal and my techo and weekly supplement for planning and memory keeping ❤
Thanks so much for the side by side comparison. I just received my first ever hobonichis in Weeks and Techo both in April start. I have the A6 weekly supplement in my cart. Considering A5 cousin for next year. Not sure yet. Still watching videos to help me see the pros and cons. I really appreciate your content. Blessings❣️
Very informative, very helpful. Thank you. Also I would love a flip through of the A5. I bought a one book cousins A5 and thinking I should have bought the avec 😆
Oh no! Unfortunately I decided to purchase a full year Cousin and recently sold the Avec version even though I've been using an Avec for the last two years so I can't do the flip through (Sorry!!).
This was helpful 😊! I know what I would use the A5 cousin for, my family log. The weeks would be my food/ health trackers. But the A6 is where I get stuck. I’m just not sure what I would use it for😊. Thank you for sharing 💗🤗!!
Hi! Thank you for the comment! Honestly I am waffling on whether or not to keep the A6. I originally intended it as a daily journal to jot down quick thoughts or paste random ephemera into it. But then I suddenly think I want to get the 5-year lol! So many decisions. I was thinking I'd do a video of my lineup for next year if I ever figure it out haha
Hi! (2) A6 notebooks are just slightly thicker than the A6 techo which means the weekly supplement will slide into one of the cover's flaps just fine but it will be a bit thick and the cover might not close all the way when laying on a table. Optionally, the weekly supplement does also fit into the exterior pocket (if you have a cover that has one).
It certainly is a challenge with a product that's predated! I've been using the Cousin for a couple years and was able to train my brain not to look at the numbers as a date, but as a sort of "page number" IDK. LOL! It is hard!
@Claire Daniels I used the day free. Lasted 9 months then I bind half of a Hobonichi plain notebook to it. Working well. Switching to Take a Note for 2023. Won't need so much notes
