I love the budgies 🦜 & your words, so many ppl on RU-vid apologize for not filming or for being undecided about decoration etc 😳 I use yr at a glance for travel 🚗 , if I leave town, I write town initials & why ,example (Jer/Dr) to keep track of fuel/kms for work/personal use = a record. I circle ⭕️ dates in red for my cycle and section at top = I write hubby and my pays💰that month. Down the bottom anything expensive we did that month 📲🏡🛻🎮 quick reference.
Preach my planner sister. Say it louder for the whole #plannercommunity🌼 also I picked the R fit Thursday in engineering school and it just stuck..i put a R for every Thursday
Social media is great, but it’s created a comparison culture and takes “keeping up with the Joneses” to a whole new level! Say “No” to Planner Pressure! Lol
I use my year at a glance for finances. I highlight paydays and write in which bills are due on the coordinating days. It helps me see what’s coming out quickly between the highlights. I also put the store name in if I spend more than $50 on their respective days. Groceries don’t count for me but everything else does. It’s been really helpful for me to visualize it.
The University that I went to used R for Thursday and I still like to use it as well! Haven’t seen someone else use it in a while - a bit of validation.😊. I got used to a Monday start some years ago in weekly plans but I have to use a S start monthly view
I ordered my first Hobonichi Weeks for 2023 because of FOMO (I am an A-5 Disc-bound Loyalist,) so I am going to use my Weeks as a gratitude journal and decorate it with stickers to turn it into something that won't be thrown out. I love buying cute stickers, but then I hoard them instead of using them because my A5 Planner pages get tossed. I might re-order and use one as my "Purse Planner.." We'll see!
Same when it comes to stickers! I refuse to put my favorites on anything that might get thrown out. I still have a ton of stickers from childhood that I could never bring myself to use. But I feel better about using them in my Weeks because I intend on keeping it! And the Weeks makes a great Purse Planner. I carry mine most of the time. I hope you love it!
Thank you for sharing a flip through. I like the way you use your Weeks- functional and fun. I appreciate that you don’t let the stickers control the spread. My style is similar. I’ll be using the Weeks for the first time in ‘23. I’m excited, but the size makes me nervous 😅. I plan to use the yearly overview for tracking my exercise and mood.
Why have a planner if you can’t write in it? I hope you love the Weeks! I have found it to have more than enough space to keep up with what I need to accomplish. (I do use a separate system at work!) Good idea for the yearly overview!
I picked up R for Thursdays and N for Sundays from my college catalog too! Been using those letters ever since; it's helpful for differentiating the days with the same first letter.
Yes, it’s super helpful! I didn’t know about N for Sunday, but that makes sense. I guess I never paid attention to any classes offered on the weekend haha
use year at a glance as tick tracker, 1 2 3 ticks coloured pens eg walk dog, water, 8hrs sleep, a color key at the top or not, so its private, nobody needs to see it. birtdays fineliner, dates to remember, renewals insurance, contracts, etc
Do you feel like tracking your sleeping hours helps you get more sleep? Or does it just show you why you feel one way versus another? I feel like I would just consistently be disappointed in myself 😂
@@gingerpeachy I’m not sure that it helps my sleep or not, but I do like to see *in writing * how I’ve slept, since I do take a tiny bit of medication every night that has definitely improved how long I sleep. Oh the struggle especially when you get older!
I use the cousin for journaling and memory keeping. I just ordered the weeks but purchased the mega. I will see how it goes. I went up in size on my passion planner and that's my main planner, but I dont like the size. I got away from the whole decorating. I do it when I feel like it. High lighters are a must though. Glad to have found you. Just subscribed
There can be so much pressure to decorate every single page, which makes me not want to use my planner at all. It’s fun but I don’t have that kind of time! I love the cousin for daily journaling because having only one page per day helps me condense my thoughts, and is totally doable most every day. When I occasionally need to just sit and write pages and pages, I have other notebooks for that! I hope you love the Weeks. I have enjoyed it immensely! Yes! I have been on a decluttering “journey” for a couple of years now. I know probably last year I would have almost filled up the 2,022 spots, but my home is less cluttered now, so 365 is more realistic lol
I’m using my year-at-a-glance page for my finances/income. Im a tattoo artist so my income isn’t the same every day nor is it very predictable lol. Especially because I’m able to sell product/merch on the side. So I wanted to keep it altogether to be able to calculate how much I made by the end of the year. I use the top spaces for my work expenses for the month so that I can keep track of that as well.
