Hi my name is Tyler. I got you tickets to watch your game against the wolf pack on February 16, I can’t wait. If you see a kid that has a sign that has your name on it. That’s me I love your vids and I hope you have a great rest of your day.

Is there a way to try it for a period of time ? I dont want to pay 70$USD, which is 100$ CAD just to see if I like it, its super expensive 😢

Everyone who hates on this always say the same thing “it’s not the same as the ice get on the ice and train” This isn’t supposed to replace on ice training. It’s just one of the only off ice training tools goalies can get right now. It’s a good training tool not supposed to be The only training tool. Goalies need ice at all times and a shooter in order to train. Sometimes the rink isn’t open. Players can just go shoot at a net anywhere off the ice at any time. Shoot in the backyard or a parking lot at 2am whenever. This is the only solo off ice trainer for goalies practically. Highly recommend
@JSeppy
@JSeppy 7 месяцев назад
But have you tried it on actual ice? Its pretty damn good training and accurate.
@duckattak
@duckattak 7 месяцев назад
@@JSeppyno I haven’t used it on ice yet. But my comment was mostly to push the intent behind this training tool. People neglect to see it as a training tool to help Outside the rink (or on the ice) because there isn’t many training tools for goalies let alone something they can do alone. Yeh you can go to a place that shoots puck at you but if those places are closed or far away this tool is to help train off the ice. People hate on this thinking they’re trying to say this should replace it all when that’s not what it’s about
@JSeppy
@JSeppy 7 месяцев назад
@@duckattakvery true. I agree. So I had artificial disc replacement and couldnt hold my goalie helmet up for very long before the surgery. So I had to take a break from hockey. If I had this I would have stayed fresh and more happy I’m at least competing in some sort of reality. On ice is awesome you really feel like you’re in the action. They need to implement leg pad sensors to fully take advantage of it 👍🏼 it’s not cheap but at the moment it’s the best tool out there

I am just a shiny hack playing twice a week. I have always had trouble with angles. Needed more practice, but my age and MS prevent me from playing more then twice a week. I needed more reps and this was god sent. Been using it for a couple of weeks. My play on the ice has improved greatly. Much better angle reads. Guys can't believe I am the same goalie. Sense Arena allows me to have all those extra reps without taxing my body. Love it.

I've always been curious how well this stuff worked. It would be pretty cool to have a system that lets you put your leg pads on and skates, and do the drills on a square of synthetic ice so you can work the legs too.

I’ve had mine for about a year and it’s been great to be able to focus on tracking the puck. It absolutely translated to on ice tracking. With my headset I did switch to an after market cushioned headpiece that was much more comfortable and also kept the headset in place as you are moving. It has an adjustable dial for specific fit and has a built in battery to extend the headset. Let me know if you’re interested I can look for the link to that product. Great vids btw. Been following you since your days in Orlando my skate used to happen right after your morning practices there. Good luck with Lavalle. 👍🏻 But Go Leafs Go. 😆

I like the idea of this but it seems like it might be negative training. It only trains your glove and blocker. Most saves we go down on our knees which you can’t without being in your pads on the ice. Plus you can’t work on pad saves as far as I can tell? Seems like it would train to to stay up on shots all the time🤷🏻‍♂️
@KasimirKaskisuoOfficial
@KasimirKaskisuoOfficial 7 месяцев назад
Great way to train reacting from your feet and not dropping automatically. If you’re square and have your line, all shots should hit your pads when dropping so more important to work on hands.

I can’t ever get the glove attachment to align properly. When ever I use it, the glove can’t decide where it wants to be. Constantly twitches and changes position.

When I use the glove sleeve attachments, the catching glove isn’t exactly accurate to how I have it turned in real life. It was pretty close, but not completely accurate. Was wondering if you had any experience with that?
