Edmonton fans showed grace in defeat. Had they won, I trust the police had backup ready to keep things orderly. They gotta put a cap on the numbers in the space in front of the main arena entrance. It could easily become a dangerous overcrowding situation.

I think you are forgetting the NBA, Major League Baseball, PGA, Major League Soccer, nearly 50 Minor league and semi-pro teams in a various sports. And what about other places like Boston, New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Minneapolis, Buffalo, Toronto, Tampa, Detroit Raleigh....all of these places, have multiple, well supported professional sports teams and ALL manage to have competitive NHL teams. Or were you trying to say that since Edmonton fans do not or cannot support multiple high level sports, that they somehow have more entitlement to hockey Championships. How dumb does it get???
