What an amazing strong roman you are! The world needs to know about this and through your story you reach many people. I have the greatest respect for you
Who tell school mates you’re uncut me I was uncut until I was 17 and non my school mate know and I never see bullies that a girl is not cut I wish I could run away before monsters cut me I wish I would be still uncut😖😖
What do you mean “never realised this practice was ingrained in our culture”? (it’s literally being practiced for centuries n it’s at 98% as we speak) Like you had no idea how prevalent this is IN Somalia and within the wider Somali community? Literally every woman and girl in Somalia n Djibouti is mutilated. If you’re a woman n never gone through this you’re so lucky n I’m happy for you!
@@SunShine-es6hu I've always grown up in the uk only went to somalia when I was young so no I was not aware it was this pravalent. Talking about female ed was taught to be taboo for me. Stuff like this shouldn't be happening to anyone ever
You are such a strong woman and don't stop believing one day you might find yourself pregnant. GOD is great you know that better coming from your country
I'm here for my love anything I can help or if you need to talk to someone I'm always here for you all. My ayeeyo grandma use to say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and we definitely have to break the cycle and empower our future generations.....
@@randommess6667 interesting you say that because I came from a relatively religious family and never went through FGM. I think it’s more of a cultural practice. I have come across non-religious educated families do this to their daughters. I am 37 years old Alhumdulillah I grateful to Allah my family didn’t put me or my sisters through this.
@@ummtaskintaskin482 O wow ok I didnt know some non religious famillies do FGM ,, So must be that culture is to blame then not religion,,, Im also glad your family didnt do this to you
