My 14 yr old niece got diagnoses with stage3 Hodgkin's lymphoma. I think it's stage 3 B based on what you said about bone marrow. I heard my sister who is her mother mention about bone marrows after she got the diagnostics. I also saw the xray once and there were 2 bulky things on both sides of the dia. She'a currently on chemo. I don't know anything about all this and I'm just trying my best to learn. Thank you for this video. I just hope she's okay. I can't bring myself to talk to her on video chat (she lives 4hrs away on a boat ride) cuz I'm very emotional and I wouldn't want her to see me worry so she can keep her calm. Can't even visit her because of the pandemic.
Update: she survived :') she's progressively healing. The marks she got from going through radiology is slowly fading and her hair is 2 months long now.

I was just diagnosed with nodular sclerosis HL, stage II-A. Got some pretty large LAPs in the chest and the neck, but absolutely 0 symptoms (and blood tests are good) except itching. I wanted to ask, how common is itching and what are its characteristics? My itching was always thought of to be allergic to whatever cloth /detergent we are using, but I kinda believe my itching is due to HL now. It is a type of itch that really throws you off when it itches, also wakes up at night when it is itching.
I had HL 10 years ago. I beat it but now have found a lump next to jaw bone on the inside. It moves around a lot. Like i can move it around almost all the way to the outside of my jaw, from the inside under my tongue.
hello, i wanted to ask regarding biopsy. I read some sources that you need lymph nodes biopsy but some recommend bone marrow biopsy and i got confused since isn't easier to do lymph node than bm specially since its a lymph node disease
I have neck and shoulder pain right after drinking the first glass of alcohol. After the second glass the pain disappears. Should I get anxious about this? :D
I have about 5 lymph nodes on right neck, doctors did fna for one of the nodes on my neck, my question is can they miss out cancer in other 4 nodes that they didn't do fna? I'm worried my nodes are growing

Question: If Nodular sclerosis aims for 70% of all of Hodgkin lymphomas (and these are more common in women), how is hodgkin lymphomas more common in men?
Of that 70% of nodular sclerosing type about 40% is in females and 30% in males..hope you get the point now...add the remainder to that 30% and you have your answer

M 19 and having hodgkin's lymphoma stage 2B....i was diagnosed with it 5 months ago....my abvd treatment is going on 5 cycles are already done...6th is about to be given.....but the thing is my treatment is not working well...doctors are saying after 4 cycles...my lymph nodes would have shrinken completely....but m still having them of size 4cm i don't know what's going to happen next....are they gonna change my treatment plan? Plz tell me....and how?
I am being tested for Hodgkin’s lymphoma I am only 16 years old they have found in my blood my ldh levels are 308 when only meant to be 100-190 meaning my ldh levels r high Iv now been refured to a haematologist for more testing this vedio has helped me understand a bit more about it all thank you!

Well m having classic hodgkin's lymphoma 2A...still on my treatment.....well i hv been given 6 chemo cycles already..but my chemo is not working so they are gonna change my treatment plan....btw....max. 6 cycles are given as they told me

Just been diagnosed with classical hodgekins lymphoma, iv'e got three lymph nodes on the left side of my neck and one is 5.something cm across, i think the doctor mentioned bulky disease when i got diagnosed but i was really zoning out, would this be bulky lymphoma? it's stage 2 at least but iv'e got very bad shortness of breath when i'm active i need to tell them about and i need extra tests to make sure it's not stage 3 or 4 yet because i get pains in my chest when i drink alcohol too, i should already be having 6-8 cycles of ABVD? i haven't found out my survival chance yet but i hope it's alright
If brentuximab is helpful in relapsed patients, why is it not just administered initially? I started an experimental treatment that begun with brentuximab and was confused as to why it’s not more commonly given if it’s more promising
