We gotta love tna on that they always had promos explaining the plans of a heel stable. At least they tried to make sense of it

I wonder if in real-life, Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff and/or Dixie Carter were like "Is this story-line even gonna work out?...".

The entire plan -- suck the resources out of a company and try to play like its the 80s "brother". TNA began crumbling the day these jokers stepped in.

I think Kevin Nash nailed it n the head when he said, "If you want to run this company into the ground, you can do it without me". IMO that is exactly what is going to happen... TNA good while it lasted...

This was my favourite angle of the "modern" era. Wish we could go back to this kind of storytelling.

This has got to be one of the most historic moments in the history of TNA impact and this has got to be in one of Hardy's biggest promos he did in the history of his career when he became a heel for the 1st time

At least we can all agree that one of the best promos in wrestling history occurred while in this Immortal arc between Jay Lethal and Ric Flair. Also wasn't Hogan and Flair on the same team in WCW for a bit in the Millionaire's Club?

For those that complain about Abyss and Hardy being apart of "THEY" even though they have been fighting all summer let me explain this quickly: Abyss started talking about "They" in June and he was taking out everyone, At Victory Road, Hardy realized he couldnt beat RVD so he joined Bischoff's "They" and gave the order for Abyss to take out RVD with Janice. Since that happened all Hardy and Abyss did was fight each other weakly. If u look at details, and hardy's explanation it all makes sense.

"We are immortal and we live forever." - The faction lasts a year...

Did they really cut a damn near 20 minute promo

-The final Abyss "attack" on Hardy was off camera for no one to see. -RVD comes back all fucked up and bandaged wanting Abyss and Jeff eagerly leads his best friend to him, telling the refs and security to back off. -All of a sudden, the focus is on Angle/Anderson and Jeff becomes a non factor but he's still playing them both. Jeff instigated the fight between Anderson and Angle by getting Jesse Neal to rat Anderson out.

Flair and Hogan in a heel alliance. Merging Fortune with Immortal is like what would've happened if WCW had aligned the Four Horsemen with the nWo.

This was one of the best stories by Tna it was totally unexpected I loved it the hardy heel all of it

-Jeff wanted as much tension as possible between Angle and Anderson, making them not trust the other when it was Hardy that wasn't trustworthy. Deception and smoke screens are the two themes Sting reiterated throughout this whole deal

Abyss/Joseph Park has underrated mic skills.Jarret had a right to be mad .Dixie shouldn't have done that.It was his company.

Now THIS is what Jeff needed for his career. Him being the centerpiece of this new heel mega-faction felt like a breath of fresh air for TNA.

They really thought Hogan and Bischoff and Vince Russo thing would work . They just ruined their great show .

I hate to admit it but Immortal wasn't bad at first. But adding people like Rob Terry, and Fortune leaving made the group terrible. And it went on way too long. Still, Aces and Eights and Main Event Mafia (not the new one) are still far superior.

-Hardy had two opportunities I believe to climb up on something high and take out Abyss but was always stopped by security. When has security ever stopped Jeff from doing something like that? -Obviously Hardy instructed Abyss to take out RVD in order to keep the title open because Hardy knows that he can't beat him- he never has. -The Angle/Hardy matches- Bischoff is so desperate to make the match a 3 way- he wants Hardy to get the title.

And this is where TNA when down

-All of a sudden, RVD and Hardy are never together. -Hardy and Anderson form a bond and Anderson is so persistent about getting Jeff to let his inner asshole out. -RVD gets attacked by Abyss and the next week, Hardy and Abyss get into an atrocious "brawl" with Hardy fighting for his "friend". -Every time Abyss attacked Hardy, it was either a weak one or Hardy was back the next week as if nothing happened.

I enjoyed seeing this last night on TNA. Hogan and Bischoff are so damn good together just like in the WCW/nWo days.

The strangest thing about this is....everything that Jeff Jarrett said about Dixie Carter...is true !! The first oppertunity she got - Dixie Carter used her daddies money to take total control of TNA and forced the great minds that helped TNA gain success out of positions of power or out of the company - minds like Jim Cornette and Jeff Jarrett. For TNA to grow and to succeed - Dixie needs to keep to finance and stay out of creative - and take Russo with her !!

It's disgusting on how long this promo went for.. seriously a 20 min promo segment that ultimately lead to nothing important for the show or the product moving forward.

Little did we know Hogan and Bischoff were right... Dixie single handedly destroyed TNA. Bully Ray was too late to put her thru a table. Should have been this very night.

I know legally you can't do this but it would be hilarious to read that Hardy was sentenced to 6 months to a year in jail because of those drug charges but before ruling the judge said, "because you screwed over Angle at Bound For Glory and turning your back on all the people who cheered for you over the years I sentence you to....". That would be a jawdropper. Even as an April Fools joke!

TNA is still picking up the ashes that Hogan, Bischoff and Russo caused. They are getting back to the rise again. Everyone is all like, "Ohh WWE vs. AEW! But the more the focus goes to those 2 companies, the more TNA takes advantage of rising again. And no, I'm not a TNA fanboy or WWE fanboy or AEW fanboy.. I just enjoy pro wrestling and I love seeing TNA getting good again.

One thing that would save it from disaster is if the attitude era had never happened and tna had wwe's roster from 1997-2000 as they were. So if the attitude era had never happened maybe WCW would never have gone out of business and then TNA would never have been born. So we really have Mr McMahon to thank for the birth of TNA. Going back to old ideas and old eras is not todays solution. The next successful era in wrestling should really be 'The TNA era" but so far it hasn't really caught on.

Talk about an army! A whole stable, a Hardcore badass, and a Champion on their side, this is gonna be a long storyline.

Would have preferred to see Fortune go against Hogans group for at least a few months to be fair, a heel group against heel group and the random ev.2 and so on people around and about would have been good, combining will just make crazy numbers, like nwo days. Would be much more interestin if they battled it out, some great matches could be had involvin AJ and Jeff and some other members of both groups, be hilarious to see flair and bischoff mouthing off all the time too.

@14zup Yup Jeff was WCW champion - and he made a good TNA champion when he was first called "The King Of The Mountain" - people hated him for a reason and that reason is he was a damn good heel who could work and get heat - and when it came for the good guy to beat him up he could sell like crazy - and still can. Last time I checked also - Dixie was in TNA from year 1 but had no creative control - she was just a majority buisness partner (her dad owns like 71% of TNA I think)
