Hogwarts Legacy DLC is FINALLY Happening!? What Story Content do you want to see? For me its the Tri-Wizard Tournament IF they can make it work with the established lore! Don't forget to Subscribe if you enjoyed the video!
I think the Tri-Wizard Tournament would be better, if saved for the sequel. I think that it would work if weaved into the story, like in the 4th HP book, just don't have the mc enter into it through nefarious means. I suppose, with a 15 hour dlc, they could do it justice, I just don't know if it would make sense, from a narrative standpoint, if the new kid, who never practiced magic before, and already has to play catchup, enters into a competition over other, more experienced Hogwarts students, against other schools.
The Triwizard tournament was banned in 1792. They attempted to resurrect it in 1994 but Cedric Diggory's death made them ban it again, so it's unlikely it'll happen in the 1890s
The Triwizard Tournament cannot take place in 1890 (time of action for the Hogwarts Legacy) as it was banned between 1792-1993 according to the original series of HP books
It can. I believe 99% players will ignore that little fact and they will prefer to just have fun with game. No one care about some few words from some "history" book. It will do no damage on game or HP anyway.
I really want them to add dragons and being able to ride them to the game. Hipogriffs are cool, but riding on a dragon and being able to spew fire at enemies is the ultimate experience.
Ya I agree. I sorta feel like the quest was a tease and potentially missed opportunity in HL. Perhaps they cab make it a much more challenging task to capture it, like 3 attempts to gain trust and show mastery over it
Yes. Maybe riding them in open map would be too powerful, but atleast being able to rescue them and have them in your vivarium would be nice. Catching them should be hard tho.
The idea of adding the Patronus charm alone is exciting it would be fun for them to give you options on what animal your patronus could be so you could choose and make it a bit personal
Mine would be the dark wizard route. If you learn and use the unforgivable curses you’re expelled from hogwarts, hunted by Aurors and you get a different story line where you’re on ranrocks side
That path sounds nice, but I sadly think that’s not going to happen, because it wouldn’t make sense that they didn’t include that alternate story in the main campaign since day one. I remember back in the day, developers were talking all over the place about the player having to choose between either a bright path and a dark path, but it was vey disappointing to realize that decission was reduces to weather learning the Unforgivable courses or not, and the final decission of what to do with Isidora’s Ancient Magic Container in Hogwarts. But either of those doesn’t change the storyline substantially
10-15 hours is so exciting! The Tri-Wizard tournament would be incredible, as for side quests I would love for them to add more with Sebastian - or at least for those who didn't send him to Azkaban, we never really got to help Anne in the end at all

I'd like new game plus, i don't want to start from scratch to get the house exclusive quests and house cup cutscenes. Changing seasons would be cool too.
I would be hoping for companionship for missions, maybe more side character story with poppy, Natty, Sebastian and hopefully a more in depth line with Amit, Ominis, and Imelda and maybe more side repeatable content for longevity
I really wish we get a dlc where we get a time spell where we can back in time to when Harry Potter was in school and explore that or when newt was a student and explore that
Yup 15 hours for a DLC is really good tbh. I wish they made an expansion pack tho, like Blood and Wine for Witcher 3 for example. It's probably about the size of Cyberpunks Phantom Liberty which is also cool.
I’d like to have them do stuff to make it actually feel like an actual school like you having to go to classes more than what you do then they already have and also make it where the seasons actually change with the time of year and not just with the story progression
I would like that, but they would need to make some things more like the books, like all the Starks being able to warg, not just Bran. I don't know what abilities the other families have in the books, but I did learn that about the Starks.
Just played the game for the first time...maybe I didn't notice but id like choosing your wand to actually matter and maybe more customized. I don't see why they couldn't put each color they had on each wand
This is why i tend to way minimum 6 months to 1 year before buying alot of games. Gonna be great to buy and experience this game as a complete package with the DLC.
I'm so stoked about this! Maybe the quest will be about delving more into ancient magic lore since not much is really known about it, other than few can see or wield it, and that it's been around a very long time! I'm hoping for some sort of an announcement at the Game Awards too as it would help generate the hype. I guess we'll find out in a couple of months!
So the people who just put out a game that nobody wanted that failed horribly are working on the new version of this game and that makes anybody feel good about this
The DLC in Hogwarts Legacy is in The House of Hufflepuff. Like when ya get to go to Azkaban. Or are ya just talking about The DLC in the Hogwarts Legacy 2 ??? If it is that then that really would be great to have in that.
I could agree with that, but I doubt it would have an impact on the sequel either way, in terms of size. I doubt they are even close to having a deadline for the game.
The sequel is already in pre development and this DLC will have no affect on the sequel whether it is small or large depends on the devs, this is for the meantime while they figure out where they are going with the sequel entirely
